Not as useful as a metal ladle
This ladle does look great with the soup tureen, but I prefer using a metal soup ladle. This ladle doesn't do a great job of getting soup out of the very bottom of the tureen, and I think it might break if I was too aggressive trying to scrape the bottom of the tureen. Not a favorite.

Easy to replace
I was glad to see C&B is selling this ladlel (and others) separately. It's nice to be able to buy a replacement piece if needed.

classic!
This is a great classic piece to have around. I love the simple white design! The size of the ladle gives a generous portion without overfilling a bowl.
