Great for serving spherified liquids!
I bought these because I've been getting into spherification. I'm not a huge fan of the hole at the top of the spoon's handle, but it seems to be the common thing to do. The set of 12 here at Crate and Barrel was a great value (I searched several sites)!
They're perfect for spheres of 1 tsp. to 1/2 tbsp. I'm looking forward to using them for other things as well--they're so cute!

Porcelain spoons
I love these Porcelain spoons I use them several different ways beside soup. They are great for candy jars, salsa, dips, nuts, salad fixings all party needs. But be careful they are fragile.

Imp. for every cook!
Obviously, after reading the description of this spoon,
it is not meant to be a "soup spoon". My Asian soup
spoons are heavier & larger, but every kitchen drawer
needs a few of these porcelain TASTING spoons --
either for the cook to sample or to be given out to a
few guests in order to obtain their opinion of the
tastes...very easy to wash. I use mine daily as I am
a taster of my own cooking!

Good looking product, did not meet expectations
If you expect these to be similar to the Asian noodle soup spoons, be forewarned that they are significantly smaller. They are more like appetizer spoons in actuality. Otherwise, they are really a good product!

Great Deal
These are great for small bites, but they're not quite deep enough to be used for traditional Asia soups like pho. Overall, a great buy!

Perfect for appetizers!
I like to serve small bites on these. Ceviche in these darling little spoons is always a big hit.

Great Appetizer Spoons
I use these all the time as tasting spoons or appetizer spoons.
When you want to just give a taste of something that won't stand on it's own, I use one of these.
