Awesome kettle
I needed this ... tired of microwaving my water when I try to make jello. Or, want enough hot water to make tea on a cold winter night without warms ups by microwave. Got it for my birthday and love it. Great stainless accent to my new kitchen

Tea's on!
We put this kettle on our registry just because every stove needs a kettle. When we received it at our engagement party we decided to give it a whirl. We everything about it from the design to the form and yes, the whistle!

Great teapot!
I am a HUGE tea fan, so I was thrilled to get this off of my registry. It looks great with all of the stainless steel in my kitchen. It's easy to use, and mine makes plenty of noise when it's ready.

Sleek and Durable
I've had this sleek looking teakettle for over 5 years now. It heats quickly and has a loud whistle when boiling. The best part is how easy it is to pour. I'd definitely recommend it.

Just ok
This kettle looks nice, especially in the picture, but is very light, thin & appears cheap. It's too loud...you can hear the water simmering while its heating. The Easy-open spout is ok, but doesn't close unless you angle the kettle the exact opposite way. If you just put it back horizontal it won't close. Overall, too cheaply made. Go for a thicker, sturdier kettle!

Whistles just great for us!
We were really excited to get this off of our wedding registry. We've had it for a few months and after daily use, it works wonderfully. I can hear it whistle from my master bedroom bathroom just fine. The design is great - the lid automatically lifts to pour when you tilt it. Overall, we're really pleased with this gift and definitely recommend it.

Not the best
I was very excited to try this kettle, as it was our first wedding gift. The uplift was the main reason why this product was so appealing. On the box, it claims there is a loud whistle. Unfortunately, the whistle was not loud at all. I used it several times and was not aware when the water had boiled, which was a disappointment. The teapot has been exchanged for a similar style.

I purchased two of these teakettles and neither one whistled for me. I would not recommend this as a purchase.

Love it!
I love this tea kettle. It is so modern looking, matches everything in my kitchen and is very sturdy and easy to clean.

So good I've bought 3!
No, I didn't buy them all for myself, but after having the persimmon colored uplift teakettle I got the stainless one for my mother in law to match her new kitchen. She loved it.
Then after 3 years of daily use, and in the winter the kettle is ALWAYS on, we broke down and replaced the persimmon one with this one to match our kitchen. The old one is still in our kitchen and works fine.
I just can't imagine a better kettle.

Good Teakettle
The kettle works well and it's easy to hear. I have two of these, one in each house, and they get the job done. For the second kettle, I considered purchasing a Chantal Whistling teakettle because of the appearance but this kettle looks almost as good for half the price.

Great Design!
This kettle works great and is so convenient and easy to use. It can be a little tough to clean because it does get dirty since we leave it out. That would be my only complaint.

Most Used Item in my Kitchen
I love my tea kettle! It is both beautiful and functional, understated, yet elegant and would complement any decor. I sadly burned my first one (received as a gift), and after looking at many others, replaced it with the very same. It never leaves my stovetop and I use it with one-handed ease morning and night. It does require occassional polishing, but I suppose that cannot be helped...

Beautiful, not functional
We loved this kettle at first (very pretty, nice sound), but my husband left it on the stove for a bit too long (maybe 20 minutes) and the handle completely melted. The entire apartment smelled of plastic for two days.

Whistle while you work!
This teakettle is fantastic! It holds a very generous amount of water and I love that it whistles to notify me when my water is boiling so I don't have to stand around watching anymore! The handle is always cool to the touch and the easy-open spout is very handy. Like another reviewer mentioned, the teakettle does get dirty on the outside but that's because it's pretty enough to leave out on the stove even when not in use! It doesn't get any more dirty than your stove would... and cleans up nicely!

sits at ready at all times
I keep this guy on my stove at ready to use at all times. He hits up just right and is perfect for tea, coca, and coffee in the french press. It is just a great tea kettle and I'm so glad I registered for it!

Just my cup of tea!
We registered for this product and enjoy it. We have the brushed stainless steel which tends to get a bit "dirty" looking on the outside but the product works great. Sometimes the cap/lid is a bit tough to get on and off but I figured that would ease with more use.
