great upgrade
i never thought i'd love a paper towel holder at all, let alone this much! this was such a fun gift to receive and a definite upgrade from what we had been using. great to only need one hand to grab one sheet at a time.

Perfect Holder
Purchased this for my Mother-in-Law who was always complaining about her papertowel holder. She wanted one you could use one handed. This one fits the bill. She loves it so much I have to go get one for myself.

Awesome
We just remodeled our kitchen and decided we wanted a stand alone paper towel holder. My husband thinks it is funny that I love this paper towel holder so much - but I do. As other reveiwers have said you can grab a towel with one hand and it rips off no problem! It looks great also. Simple and functional. Love it.

Fits Various Sizes

Great Countertop Accessory
I love this paper towel holder. When my hands are dirty from cooking or I have a utensil in hand, I can easily grab one paper towel and not have to worry about the entire roll coming undone. The springarm allows for various size rolls and always keeps the roll neatly rolled up and away from countertop messes.

One Handed Ease
This product works as advertised - I'm finally able to get a paper towel with one hand when necessary. It's heavy enough to be stable on the countertop and the spring arm works as a second (and clean) hand. The design is handsome, too.

Tame Those Towels
Oh the joys of growing up! This paper towel holder is really a nice convenience. For years, the paper towels were just sitting on the counter top being unruly. Now, it just looks so much more... put together.
Paper towels are easy to rip off sheet by sheet.

Best paper towel holder ever
We LOVE this paper towel holder. Perfect height to fit under cabinets, very easy/convenient to refill with fresh roll, and the arm really does ensure you only rip off one towel at a time... when you are moving around in your kitchen, it is awesome to only have to use one hand to grab a towel.

nice, simple design
This Paper Towel Holder is a nice and simple design. The reason I give it only 4 stars is because it's difficult to tear away the paper towels with only one hand. The spring-loaded arm is sturdy, but not what I would have expected. In the end, lovely product! Works just fine.

Okay but not a 5
The arm holds the roll of towels nicely but the entire holder is not secure enough to be able to just zip a sheet off quickly. Instead, I've had to do it slowly, being careful not to tip it over or pull the holder around.

Hands Down
Someone thought long and hard in the design of this product.. I wanted papertowels handy, my husband hated having the roll flop around, get wet, etc. This holder is good looking, sturdy, and definitely can be worked with one hand. It is wonderful to buy a product that fills a need so neatly!

THE BEST PAPER TOWEL HOLDER
I think this paper towel holder works great! I love its modern, clean look & ease of use. The arm keeps the paper towel from hanging loose or unraveling further & holds the roll firmly for tearing off one sheet at a time. Has a stable, non-slip base. I had looked at some other holders, but always returned to this one. Perfect form & function!!

Great One-Hand Dispenser
I find this to be an exceptional addition to my kitchen! Sleek looking and it DOES work with one hand all the way to the end of the paper towel roll. I've now used it with three different brands of towels and they all fit and worked equally well. I'll never buy another style paper towel holder and I think this would make a great shower or housewarming gift!!!

Two Hands Required
Everyone raves about the one-hand tear. The spring arm does not hold the roll in place. Using one hand results in the entire thing falling over - no matter how gentle or firm you pull. It will do for now but I'm very disappointed.

Nice
I was worried at first that the arm wasn't functioning properly, but put a roll of paper towels on anyway to give it a try. I've been through almost an entire roll and I think it's working fine. The arm holds the paper is place so one piece can be torn off one-handed, which is what I wanted. It looks very nice on the counter and doesn't take up too much room.

Great product
I'm not sure what some of the people were saying about this being wobbly or unstable, I would say you would have to really be yanking on the papertowel to make that happen. What a great design and this should be the papertowel dispencer to replace them all.
