The Story

Revered by both professional chefs and home cooks since its 1925 debut, Le Creuset's classic French cookware is prized for its utilitarian good looks and unsurpassed heat retention. In a deep shade of inky blue you'll find only at Crate and Barrel, our cast iron cookware is clad in smooth, vitrified porcleain, rendering each piece impervious to acid, alkali, odors and stains. Non-reactive cooking surface does not require seasoning. Compatible with all types of heat sources, from gas and electric stoves, to ceramic and glass cooktops, to induction and halogen—even solid fuel and open fire. Le Creuset cookware is also available in cherry and our exclusive shades of cream and spinach.

Le Creuset® 3.5 qt. Ink Everyday Pan is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my Everyday Pan! I have had my Everyday Pan for a few months now and I cannot believe it took me so long to make this purchase! I had my eye on this piece for years but was always hesitant on the price as I have never purchased a Le Creuset item. For my first Le Creuset purchase this pan is perfect, I use it almost every night. It is marketed as a "braiser" but that's not what I typically use it for. We've used it for just about everything from chicken piccata, biscuits and gravy, and meatballs. I love that I can use it on the stovetop, move it to the oven, and then bring it to the table because it is such a beautiful piece. It is heavy, but that is what you get with cast iron. Also beware that the handles do get hot on the stove! My favorite thing about this pan? It basically cleans itself! Soak it for a few minutes and even the toughest looking mess wipes right off! Highly recommend this piece for your kitchen!
