Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Quality I am so diappointed in the quality of the duvet. I fell in love with thee design both online and as soon as I got it home. It was more than I had initially wanted to spend but after looking everywhere for a duvet that worked in our home, I fell in love with this one and decided to splurge a little! I had it for about a month before the duvet ripped. I assumed it was a flaw in the duvet and because I loved it so much I purchase it for a second time. I had the second one for about two months before this one also got a rip in it. I am now $400 into 2 duvets that lasted me less than six months! Very disappointing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it This duvet is absolutely everything I expected and more. I've had it for 9 months now. I wash it frequently (once every week or so) and it has yet to fade or tear. It was a bit expensive, but I believe it was worth every penny. It is more of an ivory/cream. The other colors are earthy which is what I love. It wasn't too bright, but the beautiful pattern and contrasting colors do seem to jump out. I painted my walls a deep orangy-red, furniture is black, and decor is bronze and antique gold. I paired it with khaki sheets. It is perfect for modern traditional decorating. I've had many compliments. Definitely recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty but not as expected Based on the pictures, I thought the background color for this duvet was cream/ivory. However, it's definitely more of an antiqued color with a tan-ish feel (note - it's NOT tan, it's just hard for me to express the color) - not as clean a palette as I was going for. I guess that's the risk you run buying things online! I am still on the fence as to whether to return it - though the deadline is closing in. It's very nice and there is certainly not much else like it on the market right now (believe me I've looked!). Can't comment on durability like others have since I haven't taken it out of the package, yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unique colors and pattern that really adds warmth I had this pinned on Pinterest for months. One day I got an email that alerted me that my "pin's" price had dropped. I went to Crate and Barrel that day to look at it as it had been many months since I last saw it in person. The colors and design are so unusual that I was unsure whether or not I wanted it still but the salesperson at the store was to me that I could take it home to see how it went with my bedroom and if I didn't like it, I could bring it back, (unused, of course). So I took it home and my husband loved it!! I bought some eggplant colored pillows to match. For summer I might get some lighter ones for a change. It is a wonderful from my plain white duvet and beige I always seem to gravitate to. It is worth the cost.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful but Button Trouble This duvet beautifully pulls my bedroom colors together. The simple bedroom came alive with this duvet. And I find I can pull out the reds, greens, yellows, even orange... with pillows, paint, etc.It washes well too. My only complaint is that the buttons on the bottom are too close to the edge of the fabric and many of them have pulled through. I need to take it somewhere to have all the button holes reinforced and the torn fabric fixed. This was disappointing because of the cost of the cover. However, I looked for a neat pattern for so long that I guess it was worth it despite the hassle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than the photos I think, due to the intricacy of the pattern, this duvet doesn't photograph all that well. I didn't like it until I got to the store and saw how beautiful it is in person. It definitely adds some much needed color to my neutral bedroom, without being too feminine for my husband. We have sets of ivory and white sheets, and both look great with the duvet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed with quality I honestly wish that I could glow about this product, because I absolutely loved it, but I just can not. The first Lucia duvet cover I received arrived with several wear marks, and small holes at the opening of the duvet. Crate and Barrel has amazing customer service, and with a quick phone call, a replacement was on the way. However, after opening the replacement duvet, I carefully examined the duvet before washing it, and found the quality to be lacking even with the replacement item. At the entrance of the duvet, I found where small threads were separating fairly easily, and there were several thin spots in the fabric that I did not think would tolerate wash and use well. I wish I had more confidence in the item, but for the money, I shouldn’t have to worry about the quality or longevity of the item. Unfortunately, the replacement is headed back to Crate and Barrel as of yesterday.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely Recommend I absolutely love this bed set. My husband and I have had it for over a year and a half now, and it is still in great condition, even softer than when we got it, after sleeping with it on our bed every night and bi-weekly washings in the machine. I've had no problems at all with our down comforter moving around inside, and we don't even use the ties. I agree that the pictures don't do the colors justice, and it goes with many colors - we have both beige and green sheets, both of which look fantastic with this set.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from LOVE these linens! These were the first lines I bought for my new king size bed in my new home 2 years ago and I still love them! The colors, the fabric, all fantastic. Bright but muted.I have to agree with some of the issues - the inside corner ties have completely shredded, which makes the tying/untying tricky, at best, and you really do need to tie a king duvet/cover to keep it in place.I've looked and purchased and, ultimately, returned linens from other places and keep returning to Crate and Barrel's collection. I now have three separate duvet/sham sets and with a change of the linens, I've change the look of the room. I love that!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Eh... I'm giving this 3 stars mainly because of the quality. I love the design on this duvet cover and it's extremely soft, but like most of the other reviewers the ties frayed after the first wash. The seam on mine also ripped. This cover is by no means inexpensive, so I was definitely expecting a better quality product. I'm a little disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crazy about this duvet cover! I have looked and looked for years for an interesting, colorful, not-too-feminine duvet cover. When I saw this in my friend's bedroom, I knew I had to have it! These pictures don't do it justice, and you need to zoom in to see the beautiful pattern and the rich colors. I wish it had Euro shams because I would have preferred to get Euro shams in this pattern and standard shams in one of the colors from it. We got the standard shams in this pattern and are saving up for some Corva Plum Euro shams. This design has completely transformed my bedroom into a cozy, fashionable oasis!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE it! I have been admiring this set for about two years, and finally bought it after purchasing a new bedroom set. The quality is great and it looks fantastic. I washed it as directed before putting it on the bed, and have had no problems with my duvet shifting inside. Several folks complained about the ribbons inside coming apart in the washer. Mine came out beautifully and are holding the duvet in place without a need for safety pins. I could not be more pleased, and love all the color options I now have for extra pillows, throws, etc. A wonderful purchase!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Is it me or the Duvet ? Saw this on the show Cougar Town , loved it ! Searched and found it to be at Crate & Barrel. Have had it home for about a week now and packaged it up today to return. Just didn't do it for me in real life. The material looked liked I had a Duvet wrapped in a sheet. But mostly , not the items fault, I have decided I am just not a Duvet person. To hard to wrestle with. Afraid to actually cover up with it or I will have to reconstruct it in the morning . Therefore I ended up folding it down 1/2 way , put a coverlet on the bed. When My daughter told me $200 was a pretty expensive decoration to have at the end of my bed , I agreed. Just couldn't figure out how to use right. Maybe you can !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from my favorite bedding ever! The pictures online don't do this duvet justice. It is so much more beautiful than it seems. The colors and print are not overwhelming at all and this has quickly become my favorite bedding I've ever purchased. Great purchase! Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well worth the wait. I was in the store and bought a Pillow sham, because I just LOVE the pattern. It has been on my mind for a long time, but I was never sure it would go with my decorating style....Just LOVE , LOVE the colors. So, after getting the sham filled and tossed onto a cozy reading chair....THAT DID IT...I finally ordered the duvet ( and another sham)...Well...the end result was just BREATHTAKING...It is a contemporary pattern....that looks beautiful against the burgundy wall my bed sits upon.( in a country cape cod) ONLY REGRET....was waiting so long ( like two years) to give in to a new design style...
