Rated 5 out of 5 by from timeless design My mother bought this for me as a high school graduation gift back in 1973....I still have it and use is somewhat faded but still has it's shape....there have been years I put it up only to rediscover it and use it once again....To me it seems like the precursor to the bike messenger bags that have been so popular....A timeless, incredibly useful, simple and beautiful piece.....such as all good design...I can't think of any higher praise....Mine is in black...perhaps the red would be nice to have too!!! ;)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Bag Ever I bought this bag in red about 2 years ago and use it daily (I also ended up getting the one bigger too!). It has served as a diaper bag, over night bag, and of course my everyday purse. The strap is long enough to wear across my body, which is a must for me! I have put it in the washer and had it dry cleaned and both methods made it look like new. Now having seen the yellow, I may have to get another!
