Rated 3 out of 5 by from mixed feelings on this product the rods do scratch easily but this can be avoided by undoing the set screws before moving the rods around. I'm much more disappointed that the finials sat crooked (had to gently whack two of them into place with a hammer) and my original package had a piece missing, leaving me waiting a week for the part to arrive. I expected a bit more for the price but overall the finished look is very elegant and the customer service regarding the missing piece was very good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy installation I purchased this a few weeks ago and am completely satisfied with the purchase. Beautiful, high-quality hardware and very easy to install.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Scratches easily The design is quite good but whenever you want to change your curtain it gets nasty scratches from the screws that keep it in place. Additionally, we purchased the smallest one that is supposed to extend up to 48 inches, but when you extend it to 40-44 it bends in the middle because the pipes are not tight enough. Looks horrible and we cannot return it because we got rid of the box before we even put it together

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Acceptable but not 100% The rods look nice and function ok. There should be a rubber gasket inside each end of the larger diameter rod so that it fits snugly and is less apt to come part when pulled wide. Other than that I like them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy to install - however scratches easily Bought a bunch of rods: they were easy to install; however get scratched. The rings are way too expensive: once installed, the cost of the rings typically matches the cost of the rods. Will update after 6 months on the feedback received from friends and family.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! I installed the rods on my own for a 148 inches bay window (much easier than cooperating with my husband!). They look great and are straight. I wasn't sure about the finial and thought that i wanted something fancier than the simple cap. Now that a few weeks have lapsed, i really like the look- simple and elegant, giving more focus on the actual curtains. Also love that the screws are hidden. You dont often find that.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap Scratches immediately out of the box. Weak, flimsy finish. The curtains and light drapes can't get over the slight dimension in pole width...need a long arm and lots of patience to close these daily..do not buy

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful, but Not Quite Functional I purchased the Double Hanging Curtain set so that I could hang a blackout drape behind my curtains in my bedroom. The rod itself is beautiful, and accomplished the contemporary look I sought to achieve. My one complaint is that the second rod sits almost two inches away from the window, which allows light to escape from behind the blackout curtain and into the room. This, in my opinion, defeats the purpose of a double hanging curtain rod.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from love the design A very cool accent to my curtains -- I love the chunky, sleek finials. I am also impressed by the clever, easy installation. After the obligatory hole drilling, you screw a small plate to the wall. The entire bracket slides over the plate -- so no hardward to get in the way while you tighten the screws, and no unslightly screws showing after the curtains are up.Paying a little extra for these rods is worth it. They look more substantial than the cheaper rods out there and have a very modern look.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great product This rod is now hanging in my living room. It's great-looking with my sheers and curtains, but if I move the sheers (open and close them), the mechanism (screw) that keeps the rod from extending does not hold very well. Thankfully, I do not often move them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I am very disappointed with this product. The rod that extends over 14 feet does not have the proper hardware for the length. It only comes with three brackets so there is little support in the middle and the rod sags. Additional brackets are unavailable from Crate and Barrel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product The double curtain rod was a great buy at the right price. It was extremely happy to find the double option in this length. Very easy to install, light weight. The only concern is that it scratches easy but it doesn't show from distance. I bought rods for my entire house in the same style and I am very happy with the purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from High quality curtain rods, but not perfect I purchased the double curtain rods of varying lengths for a sun room. Even though these curtain rods are more money than I was looking to spend, they were the best quality I was able to find for double rods. They are heavy-duty steel rods that can carry heavy curtains. They come with a flat finial that could be interchanged with another kind, if you have room for a larger finial. My room is small with not much room on either side of the window trim, so the flat finials are ideal here. My construction industry boyfriend was impressed with the quality of the brackets and ease of installation (a flat mount is secured to the wall, then the bracket slides on over the mount). The bronze finish is beautiful and sophisticated. On the downside, once the bracket is slid onto the mount, it moves from left to right on the mount and does not seem sturdy (but once the rod and curtains are on, there would be no back and forth movement unless someone was tugging on the curtains or rods). The bronze finish also scratches off the rod easily. The set screws on the bracket dig right in and scratch, so I would not recommend tightening those. Also, the screw-in holes for the finials were not machined correctly on all of the curtain rods I received, and the finial ends up double-threading or not screwing in securely.Other than these minor imperfections which could be improved upon, I love these sturdy, good-looking curtain rods and hope to keep them for a long time.
