The Story

Our seriously stylish Orb mixology collection recalls the decadence and nostalgia of vintage cocktail culture to elevate the home bar. Aaron Probyn's beautiful, functional designs coordinate in an artistic, unexpected mix of metals and multicolored glass. Sleek shaker gleams in warm copper accented with a touch of silver. Streamlined design features removable top with strainer and lid for icy cold, straight-up martinis and cocktails.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very attractive shaker Love the modern design and copper color of this shaker. My only issue with it is that it's a bit difficult to open and close - the lid tends to get stuck. Overall though, worth it for the way it looks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful addition to the bar cart! I use this every time I host a party and always get compliments on it. It works like a charm but the only somewhat obnoxious thing is sometimes the lid sticks a little bit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rusted after a week It's a shame because I loved the look. Unfortunately it began rusting a week after using: in the lid, in the cap, and in the body. I'm surprised at C&B, this is verging on dollar store quality.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Keeps it cold, but the lid is stuck This is a great shaker and shot measuring top. Only problem is, after you shake, the lid is SO hard to get off. I have to ask for my husband to pry it off everytime I make a drink, which requires him to be home for me to drink!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Bar addition We asked for this on our wedding registry along with the copper jiggers. It looks absolutely great on our bar and has been used many times for entertaining already. It is very durable and practical but still looks fancy and has that vintage look. It was hard to ope and close at first but that seems to have gotten better with use. It was a gift but the price is fair for this item if I were to buy it on my own.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cap gets stuck on first use Dumb. First cocktail we shook up, the shaker got so cold, and the cap will not come off. We've tried everything. Hot soapy water, cold water, strong people... it won't come off. Waste of money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Looking I just purchased this stirrer and it is a nice addition to my bar car. A nice mix of modern and vintage. I have not used it yet, but it is pretty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great For Parties I purchased this shaker for a Martini/Cocktail party I was hosting. It did not leak and has not had any rust (despite my waiting a few days to wash it properly). I got lots of compliments on it. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Super Cute Shaker I purchased this shaker about a week ago and I have mixed feelings. On the upside, it has a great look and is a really pretty addition to my bar cart, especially sitting next to my copper Moscow mule mugs. However, when I tried to get the price sticker off the residue was extremely difficult to remove and left these weird streaks on the shaker. It is a little tough to open and close, but still works well enough to make me a great drink.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from OK Shaker The Shaker is really nice looking. The color and finish are pretty snazzy, but I find when using it, sometimes it leaks. I think it's because it's really hard to get it apart and together again, especially if it's cold from the ice. If you want something pretty to compliment your style and you don't plan to use it, than it's a good choice. If you want to actually make cocktails in it, it's not the best.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Copper finish rubbed off I bought this item for my husband for Christmas. In less than 3 months, the copper finish was wearing off. Crate & Barrel generally has quality products, but not this one. Don't waste your money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really neat! I bought this item a few weeks ago and I am so glad I did! Absolutely love it! Works great and looks fun with the copper!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nearly impossible to put the lid back on This is a great looking shaker. If you want something to look nice on top of your bar while you sit back holding a bottle of beer then by all means, buy this shaker. If you have any plans to actually ever use this shaker to make a cocktail you may want to attempt to open and close it before purchasing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leaks! I love the look, but upon first use I noticed the top leaks a bit after shaking. I thought I just had a bad one so I went back to the store to do an exchange. Before leaving with the new shaker, I asked the associate to test it with some water to see if the same thing happens. It did so I ended up leaving without a shaker :(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rust after first use! I bought this nice looking cocktail shaker a while ago, and finally used it for the first time last night. I rinsed it as usually and let it air dry, today I noticed rust in the lid. I didn't even know cocktail shakers could rust, it never happened before with any of my other bar tools..  I am not sure if rust in a shaker is a health risk, but I would certainly advise not to use this item. Surprisingly low quality for Crate and Barrel!
