Useful product
I purchased this ironing blanket to avoid having to use a wet towel on top of our granite countertop. It's portability and compactness for storage are what sold me. I have not been disappointed. So pleased in fact that I bought one for my niece's first apartment as well. Very reasonably priced.

Best Gift Ever Given!
I gave this gift to my best friend. She was so excited and said it was the best gift she had ever received. It was practical, handy and worked spectacular and even small enough to pack on a long trip. She had been waiting for something like this to come along quite some time.
Thank you for making gift giving fun!

Accommodation
I ordered this for my elderly mother who can't manage an ironing board and was using a towel as an ironing pad. Her chief complaint is that it slides all over the top of the washer/dryer, but otherwise serves her purposes.

Great
Using the ironing blanket for touch up ironing is so easy. I fold and store it on a coat hanger in my laundry room, lay it on my dryer and iron. Much easier and faster than getting the ironing board out for one or two items.

Great alternative
I bought this for my daughter going to college. It is a great size for a dorm room. It works well for items such as pants and jeans. A bit harder for delicate fabrics which need to be smoothed out but great for a student pressed for space!

Brilliant Invention
Running the iron over a shirt is so much easier on rushed mornings than dragging out an ironing board. If you've ever done the towel on the floor routine, this is so much better. Great price, great product.

Not the Best Purchase
Was disappointed in the backing of the product. The back side of product is not protected, the foam is exposed. Does not look like the top. Was expecting both sides to be the same. You get what you paid for since it was only $7.95.

Great product
I just moved into a small home with limited storage and I needed an ironing board. Truth is I rarely iron, partially because it is such a hassle to set up the board. But the blanket is easy to store, works well, and now I use on my kitchen counter when I need to iron. It is a perfect solution and extremely inexpensive. Thanks Crate and Barrel!

Great for quilting projects
I am a quilter and love my new ironing pad for the small projects. I put the ironing pad on the kitchen counter and it is so handy when I need to press the seams of my quilting squares. When I am done, I fold the pad in half and store in a closet. Nice smooth surface...no bumps experienced! Great price too!

Not what I was hoping for
The blanket has a light foam backing, I was expecting a heavier backing. The backing doesn't lie flat, even after I have used it for ironing the foam has bumps and buckles.
It does protect my counter from heat. Previously I put a towel on my counter and ironed on top of the towel. With just the towel my counter got very hot and retained the heat; with the ironing blanket the counter does not get hot.
I will keep the blanket as it was inexpensive but I would not recommend it to others.

perfect for my needs
I live in a condo & hate pulling out the large ironing board to iron tops or pants quickly, so this is perfect for ironing on my bed when my clothes needs a quick fix.
