The Story

A console classic in solid white oak, crafted in clean, confident lines, unadorned by hardware for a sleek look. Two coats of wax and a roasted finish bring out oak's handsome deep grain in warm brown tones. Recessed base lightens the visual impact, adding a floating look. Double doors open to one fixed shelf for audio/visual components. Stacked drawers pull out on metal drawers for storing remotes, CDs or games.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful lines, great woodworking finish. I only wish the remote would work through a closed door, but otherwise I do love the piece.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful piece I read the reviews and was a bit hesitant to buy this but I am so glad I did. It's a beautiful piece, super heavy and well made. Holds lots of equipment and has such clean lines. I don't think the picture here does it justice. We have not had any problems with the doors but even if we do the hinges are adjustable. I recommend this piece to anyone looking for a sleek way to hide those ugly stereo components.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful piece We wanted a media cabinet long enough for our large wall, with clean lines and ample storage. Initially, we wanted to spend less than $1000 but quickly realized that for the size we needed (> 6ft long), we'd be getting a low quality piece (cheap looking veneer + metal). After seeing this piece in person, we loved it. It is a truly a sturdy piece of furniture, the solid oak and rich chocolaty color hit the mark. Delivered perfectly. As another reviewer noted, the doors were slightly mis-aligned, and my husband fixed it in about 15 seconds due to the high quality soft-close hinge type on the door that easily allows for this kind of adjustment. We're happy with it so far, and plan to have it for decades.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Over priced, even at the Outlet Center. The unit has clean lines, but that's about it. I can't believe I spent the amount of money I did on this at the outlet center ($850). When I went online to see the "real" price I did a double take. Here are the problems: As others say, the doors do not align. The shelving inside the unit is NOT adjustable, rendering it useless for me to stow away wireless headset on a base that's too tall. The cheap wood veneer chips easily. And, there's no way to hide the power strip you'll need as the base is enclosed, unless you put the power strip inside the unit, which I don't trust. Huge gash in structure, fracturing the integrity of the entire unit. Finally, the drop down door is on one hinge, and my sense is it will become unhinged in a matter of months. Upside, plenty of space for larger flat screen, and clean lines. Just beware, if you find one at an outlet center, inspect carefully before signing. It's yours for life (or at least as long as it lasts).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer beware Had this unit delivered twice. Same issues both times. Doors do not align properly and the bottom was separated. Fool me once.........

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Low and Modern, Great wood color Look good and hold a lot of equipment. A bit over priced for the quality. Doors tend to go crooked and not hang correctly. Have had to have them adjusted twice to be aligned with each other.
