Great Table
The table with benches is great for seating a clan. Now we always have room for family and friends for outdoor gatherings.

Elegant, Indestructible & Functional
We bought a complete set of Alfresco deck furniture. It is elegantly designed, very strong, and reasonably comfortable given its indestructible construction. Unlike most deck furniture, it will last forever. The dining table and chairs (circa 2011) are among the best of the set. The table surface cleans easily. The legs dismantle easily from the table top for storage. The chairs are indestructible and stack for storage. I suggest the table rain cover if you leave it outside, since water seeps into the metal frame of the chairs when it rains.

I'm Thrilled!
The table arrived in excellent condition and was a snap to put together!! I was a bit wary reading some of the older reviews, but it would seem whatever problems C&B was having with the manufacturer of tables from batches a season or two ago appear to have been resolved. I have been living with the four of the lounge chairs and ottomans in this collection for most of the summer, and as I am so pleased with how well these pieces have weathered in the Northern California climate I call home, finally ready to commit to the table, a bench, and 5 dining chairs. I look forward to enjoying many beautiful meals outdoors seated at this fantastic table.

very happy
The table is very easy to put together and very sturdy. It makes the yard look very good and I can't wait to get the chairs to go with it.

Perfect For what we were looking for!
Bought this table with 6 matching chairs last year. So far, no complaints, just compliments from everyone who has seen it (or ate on it!) I haven't seen any discoloration. I also bought the cover that went with the table and used it through the winter. Not sure if that helped!

Good Not Great Outdoor Table
We've had the table through one summer and really like it. In particular the adjustable height feet are handy on our slightly uneven wooden deck. The table color and finish has held up well through quite a bit of rain. The only drawback is some slight warping of the slats. Hopefully that will not get worse.

great look - easy maintenance
We purchased this table as part of several pieces in the Alfresco Natural collection.
The table is solidly constructed and easy to asemble with simple household tools and the included Allen key. The polywood looks and feels like the real thing and is very easy to maintain.
We have used this table several times since buying it and it has inadvertently been exposed to rain a few times with no ill effects.
The design is very simple, clean and contemporary and fits in well with our home's design elements.

Beautiful table
This is a beautiful table, love the faux wood material. It cleans up easily and looks fantastic with our Alfresco Natural chairs with peacock cushions. The table seats 6 comfortably, you can squeeze 8 at the table but no more.

First big home purchase
After a whole lot of deliberation my husband and I decided to take the plunge and invest in a good patio set for a our new home. I loved the look of this one and the biggest selling point for me was how many people I can fit around the table, which I love for having family and friends over. A measly table of four would not do!
Re: complaints of discoloration and fading, I can't say for sure yet as I've only had it for a few months, but so far, so good, and we've had a lot of rain AND a lot of sun lately.
I think I may keep it inside for truly harsh weather months, though, just to be safe.

The table that started it all
Last year, when we were looking to replace our round teak dining set with something more practical, we fell in love with this table. It was lightweight, maintenance-free, and able to seat eight easily, and we have found, ten in a pinch.
The only problem was that it was awkward to arrange the rectangular table on our round patio. It just didn't look right.
So we got to thinking, and wound up redesigning our backyard environment to eliminate the round patio. I designed a rectangular patio that become an L-shaped extension to our small back porch, and we built a Plunge Pool into the patio.
We couldn't be more thrilled with our backyard now. It took me a while to recall that the purchase of this table was the catalyst for the whole project. I guess you could say that the table wound up costing me a lot of money, but we have no regrets.

Great design and value
After reading the last couple of reviewer's comments, I will be very careful about storing this set for the winter. I've had my Alfresco Natural patio set for a couple of months now and have been impressed with how it has weathers very heavy Chicago rainfall. I got all of the pieces on sale and have been thrilled with how it works with my modern tastes but goes with a 100-year-old home. I've also heard others say to be careful about leaving glassware out under heavy sunlight because the faux wood composite might melt.
Now the true test will be seeing if it lasts through winter. I am on the C&B site now to purchase a cover for my table and chairs. I'm happy with it so far and hope my investment in this set and the cover pays off.

modern
Bought this set last year and havent noticed any color changes on it. We did buy covers for it for the winter time so maybe that provided some weather protection from the snow and rain? Do recommend the large umbrella stand because it is not too wind resistant with the smaller one.

Works well so far!
We bought this table for outdoor dining on our deck during this cold seattle summer. We have two toddlers, so we get lots of stains and spills, and it really seems to have held up well.

Great Experience so far
We have owned this table for over a year and have not had any of the problems of previous reviewers. Living in the midwest we have hot humid summers and cold winters....this table was outside (covered in the winter) and still looks brand new. Same can be said for the bench and chairs.

Awesome Alfresco
We bought this table and six chairs last summer. Packaged unbelievably well and very easy to assemble. We stored it for the winter so as not to expose it to the rains we get in northern California. This spring we are enjoying it again. We have had no problems with discoloring or with 'dimples' We find it sturdy, easy to clean and we get loads of compliments about the style of the table. We are looking to purchase other pieces in the collection.

great purchase
This table is a great size to accommodate family and friend gatherings. We love the clean look of the table and would definitely recommend this item.

A perfect patio set!
After months of searching, there is nothing out there like this set! I couldn't be happier with this Alfresco dining set. We purchased the long table, 3 chairs and a bench. We are in love with the idea that there is no maintenance, and we love the simple design. A combination that cannot be matched anywhere.

Already Discolored
We purchased this in the late summer last year (2010) and it is a great looking set. In the fall, we covered it completely and left it outside for the winter. After uncovering it just a month and half ago there are white streaks on the slats where the finish is wearing off and in the slight texture of the slats there is the appearance of little black spots (obviously dirt and perhaps mold). It doesn't come out and my table now looks dirty. It has been outside uncovered a total of about 3 months and it already looks like this.
Very disappointed at this price point.

The "slats" are not quite fade resistant
We bought the 7 piece Alfresco set last year and was attracted to its modern but warm design. 2 months into owning the set, the slats on the table suddenly showed "dimples" that resembled bumps on the table slats which was about the size of a dollar coin..several of these things appeared on the table top. Crate and Barrel replaced the table with no questions asked and had a new table delivered to our house. They picked up the old table to be looked at by the company since this furniture was the first time they sold it and wanted to see what was causing the damage.
This year, after winter in California- the table showed a distinct discoloration on the table finish. the brownish finish had faded off. As much as I love the look of this line, I am very disappointed at how it wore in just one year.
