Couldn't be happier!
Great dishes at a great price. After 20 years, I finally purchased new dishes and I couldn't be happier with these. There is not a Crate and Barrel store where I live, and the dishes looked just as they were pictured on the web-site. And, not 1 piece arrived damaged or broken - I was amazed at the care that went into packing them. Hope you are considering adding serving pieces to this collection!

Cafeware II Dinnerware
We've had our set for over 10 years. We broke two coffee cups during that time...I think they broke only because my husband dropped them on the driveway. We've never had such durable and attractive dinnerware. The set is used primarily for everyday...when I'm lazy they move easily into the dinning room. Great job C&B!!

Matches EVERYTHING!
I purchased these at the outlet store and once I started using them I had to get more! With the price of gas and FREE shipping from Crate and Barrel, I doubled my original inventory! These dishes are heavy duty, will match any decor or color and I LOVE the lip each plate provides!! The Bowls also hold quite alot!

Like the style of the dinner and salad plates
I love this set of dishes. It is so crisp and clean looking. I love how the salad and dinner plates have the sides built up. Food doesn't fall off the plates. especially with children. The only thing is that I have some that have small cracks under the glazing. I think that it is from the microwave although they say that they are microwave safe.

Why did I wait so long!
My brother has had this set for years. Every time I was at his home I would comment on how I loved his dish set. He would tell me they really were'nt that expensive. I didn't believe him. I know what great qualitly Crate and barrel has. "You get what you pay for". I am soooo happy I finally purchased my 12 piece set. They go with everything. I can dress them up or dress them down. I love them! Best purchase ever!!!

Great purchase
After going through several dinnnerware sets over the past 17 years, I have finally found one that will last. Love the white color, food looks more appetizing on a white plate. Great heavy weight, much like a restaurant plate. Only drawback is it is hard to balance a knife across rim when needed.

Sturdy and Reliable!
Less than a year ago I purchased eight each of the bowls, salad plates, and larger plates. I have been very pleased with their quality and sturdiness, as well as the way they look on the dining table. I drop plates and glasses all the time but haven't managed to break anything in this set. I keep everything stacked on a couple of racks and that hasn't been a problem. Neither the frequent use nor the dishwasher seems to have taken its toll (no scratches or stains). The clean, simple design makes the set easily paired with other dining ware and a variety of glass ware, serving bowls, etc. Overall, this is an excellent set for every day use!

I purchased these medium size plates because of the size, and I wanted a bit of a "lip" on them (rather than flat plates), to keep everything contained on the plate. These serve that purpose! They are very nice, all-purpose, go with anything plates. Crate and Barrel does an EXCELLENT packing all of their (potentially) breakable items when shipping.

Nice Dishes
Just got these dishes this week after looking for white dishes forever. Great quality dishes for a great price. They have a bit of a restaurant feel to them which works for me. I really wanted square dishes but couldn't find any that were reasonably priced that I liked and that were good quality. I haven't had white dishes in years but am glad I went back with white so they can go with different table settings and serving pieces. Great everyday dishes!

Perfect
Perfect.
This dinnerware totally made up for the broken glassware I received yesterday in the mail & restored my faith in online shopping.
Porcelain, excellent quality, heavy, aesthetically pleasing, useful shape. The plates have a curve to the rim so you could technically eat saucy pasta on them without spilling a thing.
I'm looking forward to wrapping my hands around the large mugs.
Stackable.
If I was opening a restaurant, I would use these dishes.

Cafe II vs. Stove Top
This dinnerware is amazing. I've had my set for 17 years. 17 years! It's is amazingly durable. I dropped a bowl once, it hit the stove top on it's fall. The bowl came out unscathed. I can't say as much for the stove top. Great product for everyday. Handles significant wear and tear.

Love these dishes!
My lovely daughter discovered these dishes for me - I had been looking for a long time. They are a great weight, fit nicely into the dishwasher, stack well in the cupboard and I love the curvature of the plates. I am so happy with them!!

Classic and Sturdy

I COULDN'T BELIEVE THE EASY WAY TO ORDER AND THE PROMPT SHIPPING, THIS WAS A GIFT FOR MY SON AND HIS FUTURE BRIDE AND IT CAME IN TWO DAYS, THE WAY IT WAS PACKED I THINK IT COULD HAVE BEED DROPPED 25' AND STILL HAD ALL THE PLATES INTACK. Fantastic dinnerware
We actually had the first version of these dishes years ago. One of our daughters needed dishes and we gave her our set. Very quickly we found out how much we missed them. Plates are plentiful, and the depth keeps liquids in the plate. The larger bowls are great for salad or pasta, and the smaller bowls are great for dipping sauces, and condiments. The coffee cups are heavy and keep your coffee or tea hot for a long time.
They look very expensive, but in fact are very affordable.
Since they are white, they mix well with other colors of dishes and always go with the tablecloth and napkins. Great for times when you want to liven up the table.
We are extremely happy with our purchase of two sets; and we will keep them this time.

Excellent in longevity and style
I bought six of these mugs years ago. The fact that I still have all six is a true testament to their longevity and timeless style. They are comfortable to hold and have the heft to not tip easily on a full table as guests hands roam around. My favorite beverage for these mugs? Hot chocolate and marshmallows, hands-down.
