Great sauce dishes
These are perfect for sauces! The flat bottom makes them great for dipping. Also great for holding taco toppings!

Smaller...
These ramekins were smaller than I expected but will still come in handy for cooking ingredients.

Smaller than I thought
These ramekins are great - nothing fancy, just your basic, sturdy, simple porcelain dishes. The only problem I had is that it was hard to tell size from the online photo and they are quite a bit smaller than I anticipated. I'd say you could fit 6-7 medium sized olives, versus the 10-14 olive size I was looking for.

Wonderful for lava cakes
We bought these for my husband, who wanted to try making lava cakes. They're on the small side, and that's a really good thing, because we made all 6 ramekins and then promptly ate them all. These would be great for food prep or making rich desserts.

Small
These are nice,but alot smaller than I imagined. About the size the seafood places serve melted butter in.

Very nice, but small
I rated these ramekins 5 stars because they are wonderful quality. They are, however, smaller than I expected. They hold 4 oz, exactly (to the very top of the rim). Just perfect to use for dips, or portion control (like one scoop of ice cream). Also, the diameter of 3-inches is the measurement from outside edge to outside edge. The interior diameter is 2 1/2-inches.
Will go back to C&B for the larger ramekins too.

INCREDIBLE FOR CROCK POT COOKING
I HAVE CELIAC DISEASE AND AM LACTOSE INTOLERANT, LOOKING FOR CREATIVE WAYS TO PREPARE DIFFERENT FOODS IN THE CROCK-POT AND THESE LITTLE GEMS FIT PERFECTLY (5) TO MAKE INDIVIDUAL BROWNIES AND I EVEN USE THEM TO MAKE BREAD THAT TURN OUT LIKE ROLLS WITH THE PREPACKAGED MIXES. I HAVE ORDERED A SECOND SET OF 12 AND HAVE YET TO RECEIVE THEM SINCE THEY WERE BACK ORDERED AT THE TIME I ORDERED THEM WELL OVER A MONTH AGO...ANXIOUSLY WAITING FOR THEM AS I GIFTED THE FIRST SET....HURRY I AM BROWNIE/BREAD STARVING...COULD USE OVEN BUT NOT AS CONVENIENT WHEN OUT AND ABOUT.

Versatile and Simple
