Lovely But Beware on Wooden Tables
These are lovely placemats, but please use great caution using them on wooden tables! Not all of the mats I purchased had the very small warning on the back about not using for an "extended time" on the back. After 2 days on my cherry table, I now have seemingly permanent, raised marks blotching the surface wherever the mats were placed. I wish Crate and Barrel used larger type for the warning, placed it on the front of the mat, and defined "extended time" as 48 hours or less.

Love!
I absolutely adore everything about these placemats. They sparkle so beautifully, and cleaning them is a breeze! I received them as a bridal shower gift, and plan on buying more!

Wedding Present purchase
I bought these for a wedding present from the bride's wish list. I was a little mislead by the description thinking that a napkin came with each placemat, but the placemat seems to be of good quality and the sparkles in the mat do not fall out and make a mess. Nice item and the bride-to-be loves themwhich is the most important thing about them.
