Great product!
I've been looking for glass storage with no plastic and finally found it here. It is great--perfect size for leftovers and goes from fridge to oven or microwave to table. No worries about plastic melting or being hard to clean. My only regret is that it is being discontinued!

Lids are too snug - You cannot get them off!!
I loved the size of these and the smaller 1 or 2 cup ones are great. These large dishes, however, I am going to return.I love that they are glass but you can't get the lids off. I thought maybe it was just me (yes, I have arthritis), so I had my 20 year old daughter try and help and each time we tried we had to make such an effort - imagine if there was food in them. It's really odd. I did not expect this from a Crate and Barrel purchase. Also, you cannot stack them due to the design. I am very disappointed. Don't waste your time on these large ones.

So practical!
I've recently begun transitioning from plastic to all glass items. These storage containers are awesome! Yes, they are a bit heavy as some reviewers wrote, but hey its glass! They're thicker so that they can withstand constant use and not break as easily! They're perfect, i cook and can store them in the fridge or freezer and then put right into the oven, no need to transfer to another dish. Love, love, love....

Retro rules
Great option for those who want to move away from plastic storage. Reminds me of my mother's old glass storage ware. Be careful though, it is heavy.

Very Happy
Love this item. The flat top allows you to stack items on top of it in the refrigerator. Another great feature is the clear glass...you can see what's in it...no hidden surprises.

Beautiful and Functional
I've transitioned from plastic to glass completely and have wanted this piece for quite some time. It's beautiful and can be used for serving at any type of table setting. I love that it goes from oven to table to freezer to microwave and can be used in so many different ways. It's a nice, big substantial piece. Well made. I will be purchasing more.

Great Size
I find the food stays fresher and has a longer shelf life in these glass dishes rather than plastic.
I use this large size when I have a lot of left overs. It is large but sometimes you need large! Overall, I'm very pleased with the product!!!!
I also use it for preparing a salad beforehand or just to keep in the fridge. The perishables in the salad stay fresh and crisp. UNBELIEVABLE! In plastic, it would get soggy.
I discarded my plastic bowls and replaced them with these refrigerator dishes in all sizes. They stack easily too!

LOVE this container!
I can't say enough about this storage container. It is the perfect size for side dishes, casseroles, party leftovers, whatever you can think of. The retro design is nice enough for the dinner party table, and certainly belies it's less-than-20-bucks price point. I like it so much, I bought another as well. It goes camping with us, to potluck parties, our own dinner parties, and anywhere else we can think of. Have really taken it from dishwasher to oven to fridge with no problem. Buy it!!!

Love these!!!
What a great way to store food with no worries about all of those scary plastics out there. Plus leftovers can go straight from the fridge to the microwave. I own this whole set, and they have stayed in great condition for 8 years now. I would recommend getting at least one of each size.

great storage
I purchased several glass storage products out of this line. This glass container is great and a perfect size. Easy to clean and fits well in the refrigerator with other items. I like being able to see what is in the container as well. All in all a great buy and a good addition to any kitchen

Fantastic!
These are wonderful and keep food very fresh. I have had these for over 5 years and they have held up beautifully. I have the whole set and use them often. I would normally have to repurchase tupperware over and over because of stains, tops that no longer fit, etc. These may seem a bit pricey but trust me they save in the long run!

Great for lots of uses
This is a very usable container. I have used it for casseroles that are baked and later used it to reheat the food in the microwave. It did a terrific job with both. I have also used it filled with ice to keep wine cool on the patio.
It is attractive and looks nice on the table.

pretty and versatile
I love the look at versatility of this dish! Layered dishes (like lasagna) and desserts (like tiramisu) look beautiful in this. What I don't necessarily appreciate about this is that the lid rattles against the dish with every little movement. The large size of this is perfect when cooking a main dish for the family.

Vastly Preferable to Plastic
I wish I had lots of these! I like storing things in the refrigerator in this container. Odors do no "leak out". I just think that the glass is so preferable to plastic. Yes, I have used plastic for years but, no, I don't love it. The instructions warn against taking the container from the fridge and putting it cold directly into the oven and microwave. You will need to plan ahead a bit to let it come to room temp before re-heating. Not that serious of a problem to me. I plan to collect a few of each size of this container.
