Don't bother
Very cool concept, but the popper's handle broke off the first time it was washed and I was not holding the handle. It just fell off. Later I read similar reviews on other websites. Crate and Barrel was awesome with crediting me for the purchase immediately.

Works Great!
I was so excited to try this out and it hasn't disappointed. I will say you have to kind of play with the amount of popcorn to put in it to make sure there aren't a bunch of unpopped kernels but I quickly figured it out by eyeballing it.

Almost perfect popcorn
This is a great popcorn maker and I definitely appreciate not having all the chemicals etc. from bag popcorn. I love being able to add the butter from the lid; my only complaint is that if I left it in long enough for most of the popcorn to pop without a bunch of seeds left in the bottom the butter started to burn. Overall, a great product.

not what i was hoping for
i was hoping that this would be an alternative to popping popcorn on the stove. it either burns the popcorn or leaves a lot unpopped. also, it doesn't get clean in the dishwasher.

worst puchase ever
This is the WORST microwave popcorn popper I ever purchased!! The popcorn burns before it is done! Does not pop much at a time.
I get better results using a brown paper bag for a microwave popcorn popper!!!

Corn Popper
First experience with this corn popper was on vacation with family and they had one. Loved it! Tried all the other kinds over the years and each lost its appeal in the end. What I like about this one is the ease of making buttered popcorn. No chemicals, no questionable or fake oils, no preservatives. Just popcorn and real, honest to goodness butter. Our favorite snack.

Excellent Popcorn
This make excellent popcord without a drop of oil or butter. Fill the bottom dwelling and put in the microwave for ~ 2 minutes. Delicious popcorn will be right up.

No brainer
Wonderful product. Years upon years of usage! This popper is made to last. Does a great job. I have flexibility to use any corn I like. The popper is able to handle it all: salt, butter, spices...

Delicious popcorn!
I'm not a fan of microwave popcorn, and the whirly popcorn maker is too much of a pain to clean. The Microwave Corn Popper makes great popcorn & cleanup only involves a quick rinse & putting in the dishwasher. Delicious and easy!

Stock a Few!
I have now purchased about 10 of these - given to my popcorn loving friends and family. I have also purchased multiples for myself. This little glass pot pops the best popcorn ever. When I want to be truly healthy, I use little butter, but for those days I want a bit more indulgence, I put quite a few butter pats on top to melt into my corn! The only challenge is finding the right cooking time - every microwave is different, and even popcorn types require different times. Once you get the magic number - you're good to go. Love it!!!

Works wonderfully!
I've been looking for a better alternative to the whirl-pop thing I've been using since I read about the dangers of microwave bags. This is wonderful for air-popped type popcorn, which has been great for my diet. I only tried the butter melting way once, but it seemed to work just fine. It's easy to clean and easy to use...I've already bought 2 more as gifts!

Great Product!
Okay I bought this on a whim after reading an article about how microwave popcorn is bad for you with the chemicals and additives in the bag. To my surprise, it actually works and tastes 100% better than bagged popcorn. It is very simple and easy to pop kernels that doesn't require more effort than pouring the corn in bowl. The bowl was larger than I expected which was a bonus. Overall, I would highly recommend this product to anyone who loves popcorn.

I had one of these years ago. Only problem that it was sometimes difficult to clean the butter residue out. I finally got a corved brush. Don't know what happened to it. Will be getting replacement soon.

Disappointed
Purchased 3 for Christmas presents. I used 1 and the handle broke off the 1st time I used it.
My father used his daily since Christmas. Last week poured the popcorn in the bowl, the container crumbled and all that is left is the handle. The 3rd has not broken yet.
Popcorn was delicious.

Better than Bags
I love popcorn, but have been turned off by the Microwave bag popcorn. Although convenient, the smell, chemicals, fat content....you know. So this device caught my eye, and I tried it yesterday for the first time. As with other reviews, a little nervous about how fragile the glass handle will be, and of course knowing that you will need to wash something else vs. just throwing a bag away. My first batch was small, and I did use about 1 Tbs butter. It was good, and the BEST part was it smelled like popcorn and did not stink up the microwave like bag popcorn does.

The Best Christmas Gift Ever!
I purchased it several months ago and I enjoyed it so much that I purchased 3 more as Christmas presents this year.
It is a little fragile, so wash it separately!

So So
I bought 1 for me me and one for gift but returned the gift one after I tried mine out. Good points, I guess greener than bags and not eating all the chemicals/preservatives in microwave popcorn. More ecomonical. Bad points. Burns too easily. Handle feels and looks like it won't last. Have to treat gently. Have to add butter or popcorn tastes weird. Pain to clean.

works great- too fragile
I bought this for work and I have only used it once so far, but when I took the popper out of the microwave holding the handle and heard a little cracking noise. Upon further examination there is a little crack where the handle meets the bowl. I have another glass microwave popcorn popper at home without a handle which works well, but when I was looking to get one for work and I saw the handle I thought, what a great idea! Apparently not, I will be returning the product.
