The Story

Pull up a seat crafted of naturally aged, reclaimed peroba wood, magnificently repurposed in an artful Zen-meets-Prairie-Style aesthetic. The Paloma I bench's exotic wood is reclaimed from the siding and floors of old buildings in Brazil, then restored and handcrafted to create each dynamic piece. The 3-seat bench's legs are crafted of precision-cut, hand-laid strips of peroba wrapped around peroba posts, while the substantial seat is gorgeous mahogany veneer edged in peroba. A special joinery technique creates a smooth, flush transition between top and base. The Paloma I Bench is a Crate and Barrel exclusive.

Paloma I Bench is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Paolma 1 Bench It was exciting to have the option to purchase the Paloma 1 bench. I had bought the table but could buy the bench at the same time and was so disappointed when the only option was for the Paloma 2 bench. As soon as I saw the Paloma 1 bench back in the catalog, I ordered it. I love the table and the bench, beautiful heirloom pieces.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A story that goes along with this bench and table Its one thing to have a beautiful table, but it's a whole other thing to tell your guests how the wood was reclaimed from a wooden bridge in Australia that was demolished. I plan on sharing my knowledge when i have dinner guests over so that they could truly admire this table and benches even more so!
