Naturally aged, reclaimed peroba wood is magnificently repurposed in an artful Zen-meets-Prairie dining collection. The rare, exotic wood is taken from the siding and floors of old buildings, then restored and handcrafted to create each dynamic silhouette. Beautifully proportioned sideboard centers three generous drawers between two doors, each opening to two adjustable shelves. Frame and slim rectangular legs are crafted of solid mahogany wrapped in strips of peroba wood. Sideboard top is mahogany veneer over engineered wood. Solid mahogany pulls are finished in a warm java stain. Cord management cutouts allow for use as a media console.

But nothing compared, we took the plunge and just love it. Everyone that's seen it has commented on how lovely it is, it's so unique (even the delivery guys said it was a great piece)...we'll keep this forever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by EH in Atlanta from In Love with PalomaI've been eyeing the Paloma sideboard for quite some time. I finally pulled the trigger and purchased this piece in early Jan.I use it as a media console in my living room. I must open the door when I'm using the TV to change the channels (cable box is inside the cabinet) but I don't care. That little detail does not bother me. And, if it ever does, I can put the cable box on top of the sideboard.I LOVE this piece of furniture! I'm in love with it more than ever. I have no regrets with this purchase. And every single person who sees it ohhhs and ahhhs... this piece is my new treasure!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Whitter from Unique and gorgeousI saved and saved for this purchase and it is still my most treasured piece of furniture in my home - I get tons of compliments (from both men and women) on the Paloma! I have paired it up with the Seguro mirror and they both compliment each other. The doors do stick occasionally and the small pulls attached are hard to grasp, but it is all fixed with a simple adjustment to the legs. I have purchased many items at C&B from furniture to kitchen towels, but this is still by far my favorite purchase - a showpiece that I will have in my home forever to pass onto my children in later years...

Rated 5 out of 5 by drshell from Love ItI chose this piece to use as a media center in my living room and it looks amazing. It is unique and definitely stands out when you enter the room. Everyone who walks into my house for the first time always compliments how nice it looks. I use the drawers to store my dvds and other odds/ends.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Maxman from Great looking, a few issuesWhile I love the looks of the Paloma, I am finding the cabinet doors stick and the drawers are not deep enough. The whole piece could be 2-4" deeper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by soundsgood from Love Love Love This Piece! The Paloma collection really took me by surprise when I first saw it online. It looks like it was made at a small eco design boutique. I love the design so much I ended up buying the large dining table with it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by FLWfan from Beautiful pieceThis piece is even more beautiful than the on line picture can portray. The only criticism I have is that the small pulls make it difficult to open the doors and drawers. While they are aesthetically pleasing, it would be helpful to have a bit of a lip on the pulls to help provide a better grip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mcycle from Beautiful and High QualityI needed a cabinet to store my Grandmother's china. I searched so many furniture stores and could find nothing! Then I was in Crate & Barrel and there it was. This cabinet is gorgeous. Everyone that visits comments on how beautiful it is. Plus, it is now holding service for 12 and serving pieces and there is room for other items that I don't use that often. This piece is well worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by perfectlyathome from my favorite piece of furnitureThis piece of furniture is absolutely gorgeous, and top notch in materials and construction. I always get so many complements, and it makes me feel good every time I look at it. A bit pricey, but well worth it for me. It will last a lifetime, and go with any decor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by amanfly from One of a KindSo glad Crate and Barrel launched this style. CB also did great with a piece of bathroom furniture in lighter color wood with wider slabs of wood. That piece was quite a hit internationally. Buying this piece makes me environmentally conscious and it IS a heavy and classic piece of furniture that is versatile and well built. We are using it now as a sideboard but later plan to potentially use it as media chest.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ezza from Versatility at its best!I had described the piece I wanted for our media console to my husband and found nothing that met my expectations that I could even show an example . . . until we saw this piece. It is the PERFECT size and height, and the design is so unique that it blends with the modern/beach decor we already had while making a statement of its own. Every other "sideboard" we found my husband argued looked like a dining room piece. This one gave us flexiblity of using it anywhere. I love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by NCKismet from GorgeousThis is a truly lovely piece which is well made and sturdy. We use it as a console under our wall-mounted plasma tv. It was more than double the amount we had budgeted for this piece of furniture and worth every penny. We have received compliments from every single person who has come into our house- it's beautiful, unique, made of reclaimed materials and built to last. Blends well with our modern accents as well as our antiques! There's nothing more we could ask for! Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kathryn from More Exquisite than You can ImagineThe Paloma collection is amazing. I love how textural the wood is and the subtle Mid-Century notes. I recommended this to a client and they loved it so much, I had to share the experience. This piece could work in an Asian inspired home as well as a modern home. The wood has that rough look without looking cheap - a thin line to tread. Honestly, the Paloma pieces are some of my favorites across the entire industry. You should really try to go look at it in person.
