The Story

A console classic in solid white oak, crafted in clean, confident lines, unadorned by hardware for a sleek look. Two coats of wax and a roasted finish bring out oak's handsome deep grain in warm brown tones. Recessed base lightens the visual impact, adding a floating look. Double doors open to one fixed shelf for audio/visual components. Stacked drawers pull out on metal drawers for storing remotes, CDs or games.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice piece I've had this piece for about a year.Pros: solid wood construction, good color, beautiful design.Cons: doors need to be aligned from time to time and paste wax recommended to condition the wood leaves marks no matter how much you buff it with a soft cloth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from quality clean line large console This is the perfect piece to store our media equipment under our 65" wall mounted TV. Many other consoles were too small or the same size as the TV, which looked silly. Many other large consoles, were cheap looking particle board or very traditional in style, not like the sleek, clean lines in this quality wood piece. This piece is very durable. We have 2 girls 13 months and 2.5 years and they have slammed the doors and drawers shut many times in the 6 months that we have owned it and they all still align and close properly. Unfortunately some of electronics have not fared as well, so we now push our large ottoman up against it. We love this piece.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Find After looking for months, I finally found this perfect media cabinet. It is very heavy, but that just shows the quality in the wood. The cabinets and drawer are soft close as you would expect for this price point. Couldn't be happier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic fit! The piece fits perfectly into my akwardly shaped living room. The color and shape were exactly as shown, and the cabinets and drawers open perfectly. The wood grain and lines are hard to appriciate on line, and the piece looks much better in person. The only down side was having to wait 2 months to get it! But thats all behind me know. All in all the piece is a perfect fit for my living room and my piece of mind.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful lines, great woodworking finish. I only wish the remote would work through a closed door, but otherwise I do love the piece.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful piece I read the reviews and was a bit hesitant to buy this but I am so glad I did. It's a beautiful piece, super heavy and well made. Holds lots of equipment and has such clean lines. I don't think the picture here does it justice. We have not had any problems with the doors but even if we do the hinges are adjustable. I recommend this piece to anyone looking for a sleek way to hide those ugly stereo components.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful piece We wanted a media cabinet long enough for our large wall, with clean lines and ample storage. Initially, we wanted to spend less than $1000 but quickly realized that for the size we needed (> 6ft long), we'd be getting a low quality piece (cheap looking veneer + metal). After seeing this piece in person, we loved it. It is a truly a sturdy piece of furniture, the solid oak and rich chocolaty color hit the mark. Delivered perfectly. As another reviewer noted, the doors were slightly mis-aligned, and my husband fixed it in about 15 seconds due to the high quality soft-close hinge type on the door that easily allows for this kind of adjustment. We're happy with it so far, and plan to have it for decades.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Over priced, even at the Outlet Center. The unit has clean lines, but that's about it. I can't believe I spent the amount of money I did on this at the outlet center ($850). When I went online to see the "real" price I did a double take. Here are the problems: As others say, the doors do not align. The shelving inside the unit is NOT adjustable, rendering it useless for me to stow away wireless headset on a base that's too tall. The cheap wood veneer chips easily. And, there's no way to hide the power strip you'll need as the base is enclosed, unless you put the power strip inside the unit, which I don't trust. Huge gash in structure, fracturing the integrity of the entire unit. Finally, the drop down door is on one hinge, and my sense is it will become unhinged in a matter of months. Upside, plenty of space for larger flat screen, and clean lines. Just beware, if you find one at an outlet center, inspect carefully before signing. It's yours for life (or at least as long as it lasts).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyer beware Had this unit delivered twice. Same issues both times. Doors do not align properly and the bottom was separated. Fool me once.........

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Low and Modern, Great wood color Look good and hold a lot of equipment. A bit over priced for the quality. Doors tend to go crooked and not hang correctly. Have had to have them adjusted twice to be aligned with each other.
