Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed My first purchase of this was honestly about 10 years ago. I adored this jar, and it finally met it's demise. Was excited to see this was still being offered, so I quickly ordered another and was so disappointed. The original lid was rubber, and fit very well. The new lid is plastic, doesn't fit tightly, and really serves no purpose. I wish they still manufactured the "old" version.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good space saving shape I like this pitcher because it can hold a lot of liquid, but doesn't take up a lot of space in the fridge. It does leak a little, but I don't mind it too much.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Sturdy Pitcher, But Leaky Lid We are huge iced tea drinkers at our house so we bought 2 of these jugs last Christmas. We use them everyday and both just cracked within days of each other. The downfall is that they do not pour cleanly unless you pop out the lid first. Despite that, I am still buying 2 more to replace the ones that broke.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from awful design this jug leaks whenever you pour anything from it. It's so bad I am only willing to put plain water in it when we are entertaining on the deck, because with anything else you end up with a sloppy mess all over the place. Either that, or you have to pour it over the sink. Such an awful design! I was so disappointed with this jug.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handsome pitcher We got this pitcher as a gift off our wedding registry a year and a half ago. It looks nice and is a good thick quality glass. It's easy to handle with the slot to grab on the side. Many others have complained that it leaks when you pour it but I haven't really had a major problem with that (and I use this pitcher both at home and work). Sure, it can drip a few drops but doesn't gush out all over itself and make a big mess. It's not my favorite pitcher ever but I certainly would buy one again or give it as a gift. And the lid is a nice feature too!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Messy I love everything about this jug except for the fact that it leaks when you pour it. Whether you go fast or slow. I bought it to make sun tea in and it works great for that. Be prepared to pour it over the sink or on a towel because it gets everywhere.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The Worst. Hi,We got this from our registry two years ago. And finally we started using it and it is the worst pitcher we ever had. This pitcher is so badly designed that when you pour water from it, much of the water spills down alongside the pitcher and ends up outside the cup. We have used a kitchen towel every time we use it.I don't really know how they continue to make this product. In addition, I am not sure if the reviewers here care about what we experience or not which is very annoying. We chose this based on the reviews here when we made our wedding registry. Hopefully someone does not make a mistake like us. I just cannot believe that not many people mention about this annoyance but like it just the way is..I am going to donate this to Goodwill soon - it is not just worth it - get another design!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cream pitcher I wanted a small pitcher to keep cream in the fridge as I use it daily. My daughter had a larger one for water, so I thought this would be good because the carton cream comes in gets yucky fast. This suits my needs perfectly, easy to use and clean, is durable and I am very happy with my purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the same quality I purchased this same product many years ago and it was a great buy and the top lid of the container was made of a rubber material. I recently ordered 2 additional because i broke my original container. The new top lid is made of plastic and it leaks very bad. Not happy with the top lid material and that it does not hold the liquid in the container.D.K

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Size & So Handy! I bought the smaller size of the jugs. It's great! I have been able to make more room in my frig by transferring orange juice that is near the bottom into this jug. I do the same for other beverages too. It looks great and frees up space. I like how it looks on the table too. It holds half and half for functions...looking better than a carton.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great glass container I looked everywhere for a glass container that was lightweight and had a lid and have been very happy with this one. I use this to make ice tea and the glass is strong enough to handle hot water and the cold of the refrigerator (although I let it cool on the counter first). I bought a second and now store cool water as well without worrying about what chemicals are coming out of plastic! And it is light weight. Also bought the smaller version but not entirely sure what I am going to do with it yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pitcher I love the size of this pitcher. I was looking for something to make sweet tea in but I have not microwaved my sugar and water in this yet. I think it might get too hot but I use it to put the tea in after I make it. I still wish I could find a container that I could use in the microwave to make sweet tea and then put it in the refrigerator that is as cute as this with a lid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from surprising product Feels and looks fragile but has taken some pretty good knocks and stood up to them. Actually hold a bit more than 2 L. Cap is not liquid tight.. not meant to be, suggest you take cap off before pouring. Cap is a bit awkward to remove. Indents on sides allow for decent grip. Good value! I would buy again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great space saver I like that my hand fits inside for better cleaning and that you can pour without having to remove the lid. On the other hand, the lid does't seal, so you can't shake before pouring. The glass is a little thin and I worry about it breaking when I wash it. I would still recommend this product because its easy to wash, saves space and keeps your drinks tasting fresh longer than plastic.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Jug Like the bowls purchased, this is way too thin. Only started using this three weeks ago, and the cover is broken already.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Useless Lid I have tried several different liquids in this jug and every time I go to pour any of them, the liquid comes out all sides of the lid. I still use this pitcher to make my iced tea because I have yet to replace it, but I have abandoned using the lid all together.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Large storage jugs I received 2 of these jars as a wedding gift and have enjoyed using them. They're great for pretty much any liquid. I do not recommend storing milk-based liquids in them if you tend to keep garlic or onions in your refrigerator, the lids on these jars are not particularly tight and therefore allow the liquid to absorb other odors from the fridge (even if you have a box of baking soda in there, too). They also pour a bit strangely, sometimes overflowing even when you've properly angled the jar to pour.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent and Inexpensive I use these to make "refrigerator Iced tea," which I wouldn't do in plastic containers. Just put four or five tea bags in the larger container, fill with water, and put in fridge. It's ready within a few hours. And, you use the container then to serve the iced tea.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad Pour Loved the glass and the price point. Also had a great fit for the fridge. The lid and the pour on the pitcher is horrible. Ice tea spilled over many times and nothing seemed to fix the problem. Returned it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from useful These jugs fit well in the door of the refigerator.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits Aeropress perfectly Pours without spilling. I'm using it for coffee every morning.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Over the top The beverage you put in this pitcher flows over the top. It is so pourly made and I can't believe it is still on the shelves. Back to the store it will go!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Space Saver! We have two of these and are perfect for space saving in the fridge! Love that they are narrow, have a lid and are glass!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Ice Tea Jugs Available I've used these jugs for 10 years. When I broke one, I bought two so I'ld have a spare. Clear, attractive, easy to use and a great bargain.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from jug I loved the size and shape of this jug but you have to pour super slow or it over flows all over the counter. It needs a better lid.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok Glass on the thin side. Hope I don't bump it on anything!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Juice jug like Grandma's Reminds me of the glass juice jug my Grandma had.Nice weight, not too heavy and indents to hold jug.Only draw back is the lid. It doesn't have a good seal, so don't try to shake this jug. When full I've had some leakage when pouring.Would buy again, love replacing plastic with glass.
Date published: 2012-05-30
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the best pour This jug was bought to replace the one I had bought a few years ago at crate and barrel, and recently broke. I am not as happy with this one, as it is difficult to pour when full without spilling liquid out the sides of the spout. To pour well, you almost need to remove the lid. I wish I could find the old one!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great design I love the look of this pitcher. It fits nicely in the fridge. Only issue is that the lid is not very secure and spills easily when pouring.
Date published: 2012-05-13
Rated 3 out of 5 by from not bad This container isn't anything special, but gets the job done. It drips much less than the older C&B "beehive" style containers, but the grip can be slippery if the container gets wet.
