Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great support! I bought the bunky board as extra support and to distribute the weight of the Temperpedic mattress I use on my Tate bed. I am so glad I listened to the advice of my salesperson; I can't imagine relying on slats alone!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from would not recommend I bought this board two years ago when we purchased a new mattress and didn't want the height of a regular boxspring. After a few months, my husband couldn't figure out why he never seemed to get a good night's sleep - although we had loved the mattress when we tried it in the store! We tried multiple strategies, and finally the other week we removed the bunky board only to find that it was warped to the curve of our bodies. We left off the board, and since then we've had great sleep. The bunky board is great in concept, but didn't quite live up to our expectations.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product Bought this a month ago due to back problems. Not only have they gone away but I'm sleeping better as well. Great buy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Success! I bought this as a solution to a broken box spring - it makes the bed look that much more gorgeous being a bit lower to the ground. Would consider adding this to more beds in our house!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this bunky board I recently purchased a new bedroom set that has a framed bed. When we put our existing mattress on the frame it felt like something was missing! I began searching for a solution known as the bunky board ( never even knew this existed) crate and barrel had the best price and delivery was scheduled two days later. The delivery team that came were really nice and even put the mattress back on the bed! The bunky board made the bed feel more sturdy! Overall I would recommend this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible. To C&B's credit, they replaced my first Bunky Board when I contacted them about how bad the noise was. I'm on my second one now, and just like the first after about a year it is really extremely creaky. We've had to remove it from the bed and now are wondering what the heck to do with it. What a waste of resources!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Six Month Review We have owned the product six months and, so far, no creaking or squeeking. It does raise the mattress about five inches and it is much easier to tuck in blankets and quilts at the end of the bed for that nice, modern platform bed look.Good purchase so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Addition!! Here is the deal, I was shopping for a bed (got the Dawson) and my sales person (of whom was awesome) was telling me about the benefits of the bunky board. He actually has the same bed (if he doesn't, I really don't care)but he had told me about his experice and the bunky board makes it easier to tuck in sheets/blankes/comforters or what have you. It also gives added height to the mattress. ALL OF THIS IS TRUE!! I don't notice any squeaking or any flaws. I am very happy with my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product This was and is a great idea, I believe it helps ove the long haul, I research alot of others, but this one is (Class), first it's construction is great and than it's cover well, without it you can't tell, but with it - it's a whole new world NICE.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Returning these I love C&B quality, generally.  But these are just a terrible value.  They look bad under the mattress and add almost no height.  Really just pointless.  Spend the money on a topper or something else.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Save your money! Do NOT buy this garbage. The C&B sales lady suggested we avoid this product and use plywood to support our mattress instead, but we didn't listen and bought the bunky board anyway. The bunky board is an overlapping grid of 1x3 wood studs covered with a thin sheet of cardboard and a piece of fabric. Any amount of movement on the bed causes the overlapping wood to rub and squeak loudly. Having this bunky board made it difficult for my wife and I (100 lbs and 150 lbs, respectively) to sleep because, after about a month of use, any movement resulted in the bunky board creaking which woke us both up.This bunky board was not only useless, but also ugly, as the white color stuck out against our black bed. After 1.5 years, we finally got around to trashing the bunky board and replacing it with 2 pieces of 3/4-inch plywood, as the sales lady originally suggested. The plywood is easy to get and cheaper - the lumber yard is happy to even cut the plywood to size for you. My wife sewed simple covers for the plywood by folding black twin sheets in half. The replacement plywood is completely quiet and looks much better than the bunky board. Save your money, save your sleep, and save the hassle of having to eventually dispose of this useless bunky board - avoid it at all costs!I read all the negative reviews about this item and thought my experience would be different, but it was not. This item is a complete waste of time and money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Want to stay up all night long? I do not recommend this product. Poor construction and squeaks loudly all night long with even the slightest movement on the bed. You'll see it on the curb for next trash pick-up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Squeaky after 6 Months We bought this bulky board with a bed about 6 months ago. The bed is great, but the bunny board started to squeak with every move in the bed. As noted in other reviews, it is pretty cheaply made. I would NOT recommend this product to anyone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy This bunky board is a wood frame, topped by a very thin piece of cardboard and covered with fabric. It will begin squeaking after a few months and will ruin your sleep. The best thing to do is to go buy 2 pieces of plywood cut to the dimensions of the bed, some fabric, and a staple gun. It'll cost you about $150 (depending on quality of wood and fabric), and take you about an hour. It'll be the best $150 you've ever spent.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well Helped to give my bed a more firm feel. I'm very satisfied with the purchase! And I haven't had any issues with the sound or quality of it like some of the other reviewers.
