Rated 4 out of 5 by becca from BeautifulLove this table. Purchased it a year ago and it added a nice, rustic touch to our modern kitchen. There was quite a few 'character' marks, including a huge watermark, in the wood. I almost returned it, but decided to live with it, and now the marks don't bother me at all. Happy the top could be refinished, as we have two small kids and scratches are inevitable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by scorpio33 from Statement PiecePurchased this table six months ago after having it on my wish list for over a year. Absolutely love it...low maintenance, sturdy and a statement piece. We entertain a lot and all of our guests comment on it when they see it. A nice blend of rustic and contemporary, plus eco-friendly!

Rated 5 out of 5 by jeng4 from Classic and clean linesI bought this table over a year ago and still love it. The reclaimed wood top is so pretty - I get compliments all the time. In fact I love it so much that I am ordering the table in the next size up the kitchen in the home I'm building. Yes, I'll have two tables just alike - oh well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PatriciaC from Great balance of warmth and clean, modern lines.I purchased this table two months ago after much thought and exploration of dozens of similar stores looking for something simple but distinctive. This was slightly more than I had hoped to spend but the dark metal frame and narrow striping drew me, and for reclaimed wood the price is actually a good value compared to others I saw. The table arrived on time and in perfect condition. There ARE irregular marks on the top in some spots as is common with reclaimed pieces, but i have no scratches or splitting like some reviewers noted. I like that but if you like perfect symmetry this is not the piece for you. Six chairs fit snugly but properly around this size, perfect for an apartment or condo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by blair_88 from Matches everything and just the right size!I have a small dining area and chairs from my grandparents, so I needed something flexible and gorgeous. The reclaimed wood has beautiful color and when we move to a larger home, this will transition perfectly into a desk. I get nothing but compliments and it works beautifully with my antique dutch chairs. So excited about this table.

Rated 1 out of 5 by atm5 from bad purchaseAs evidenced by other writers, the table developed a huge crack along one of the wood seams. Had it replaced and the replacement came with decent size nail holes through the table. This is a problem because dirt/crumbs/liquid dripped on the floor. Replaced table for a 3rd time - and that table was worse than the second. Returned for refund. Would advise NOT to use this table for dining purposes but rather for decoration or in another room

Rated 1 out of 5 by Karen08 from Reclaimed ReturnedToo many nail holes in this reclaimed top. Would not be good for serving food on because of crumbs getting in the holes. I understand that reclaimed wood would have some mars, but this table does not function for dining table purposes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by k425 from CracksLove the look of the table, but just a few months after purchasing it, we woke up one morning to find that the glue between two strips of wood had separated, leaving a gaping crack (1/8-1/4") that runs 2/3 of the way down the table. This caused the wood on top to warp and crack, adding to the unsightliness. Since that happened, it's cracked in a few more places. C&B customer service was great and is allowing us to return it (as they should), but we're disappointed it didn't work out and can't recommend this table to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by alco1601 from Buyer BewareThere is an inherent problem with the manufacturing of the reclaimed wood top. After just three months, I woke up to a split in the wood running the entire lengthof the table and the width of a nickel. Within 24 hours of the initial split, asecond split developed branching off of the first. I strictly followed therecommended care of the table and, the table gets very light use. Veryunhappy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by JJboy from Cracked...twiceWe purchased last fall and within a months, a few of the slats started to split apart. We replaced and now three of the four corners of the table are splitting apart as well as a few other slats. The table is screwed into the base and when it contracts, the weaker pieces of wood take the brunt of the pressure and splinter. Beautiful table...maybe better suited in a moderate climate without seasonal weather changes. Don't know what to do...thought we would replace with the teak top but reviews on that are that is stains so easily.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Daisy2012 from BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!We purchased this for our new home approximately 4 months ago. It took exchanging the table base 4 times ( 2 week delivery time each exchange) before we finally received one that did not have manufactures' defects or scratches on it. On the day we received an acceptable base, the table top cracked down the center. The crack is a Grand Canyon size crack, that covers the entire length and depth of the table! We were told by customer service that this particular table top is prone to "seasonal cracking." Crate & Barrel has agreed to replace the top. We are praying this does not happen to the new top. On another note, the delivery of this product has been nothing short of INCONVENIENT!! The delivery company that services NM only delivers on Wed with 2-3 hour delivery windows in the middle of the day. Awesome, if you don't work full time. Never again...

Rated 1 out of 5 by annk2014 from Wood separated on two tablesThis table is beautiful, but the top of the first one we got separated after maybe a couple of months. We thought it had to be a fluke, so we got it replaced, only to have the second one split down the middle as well after only a few weeks! Someone suggested it might be because of the heater being on in the winter months, but our heating vent is over three feet away and does not blow directly at the table, so it's hard to believe this product could be so fragile, especially for the price. We're really disappointed because it really is a great looking piece.

Rated 1 out of 5 by melissat from Wood is separating :(We purchased this table about 9 months ago. We exchanged another Crate and Barrel table that was defective. We LOVED the look of this table, timeless yet modern. This week we noticed that the wood is separating--it looks like the glue is coming apart. We are soooo disappointed! We will be contacted Crate and Barrel this weekend to return the table.

Rated 4 out of 5 by christyl from Love it BUT....I fell in love with this dining table when i first saw it (year or two ago?). I like how it has clean modern lines but also has the reclaimed wood look. It had a stain on it that was from manufacturing, so we ordered a replacement. CB customer service was very easy and helpful. The second one was a darker color also had a stain but less obvious. Since i liked the fact it had darker wood, I decided it was a keeper. I really love the table but I'm disappointed that its so easily scratched. I've only had it since beginning of September and it has two places where it has been scratched. One is from an unknown source(maybe my cat playing on it) and the other was from me sliding a picture frame off to the inside so it wouldn't be knocked off the table. I was surprised as I noticed it immediately, and couldn't understand why it scratched it. I didn't hear anything, its not heavy (a light $10 frame) and gave no indication I was creating damage. Sure enough there is a long scratch running across it now. For $1600 it can't be more durable? We are a newlywed couple with no kids! I don't mind spending money for a good product but I also expect it to hold up to normal use, makes me think twice about spending so much on another C&B piece of furniture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by yogaandbeagles from An Object of BeautyI couldn't be happier with this table! The multiple colors of the reclaimed wood are beautiful. So eye-catching. It pairs perfectly with the Lowe Leather Side Chairs - we purchased 2 in smoke and 2 in red to jazz things up a bit. The space is now so lovely, we always eat here instead of he formal dining room.
