Great addition for baking needs
The mat is very nice to use on the Belmont kitchen island also purchased at C&B. It making rolling out dough easy on a larger surface. It is easy to clean.

Best Mat Ever
This Mat really sticks to the counter. Pie crust comes off easily. I liked it so well, I got one for my son to roll out his pizza crust. He loves it !

Easy Clean Up
I love this mat- it provides a nice surface for baking messes, does not cut easily, and is easy to clean up afterward.

Definitely Recommended
I love this! I have the larger mat, and it's perfect for kneading or rolling out dough. I never had a cutting board quite large enough, and didn't want to buy one because it would take up so much space to store. The fact that this rolls up makes storage so much easier. Plus, when kneading, the mat doesn't move around on the counter like cutting boards always do.

Really Great
Received as a gift for my wedding, and used for the first time to roll out dough (since I am out of wax paper). It works wonderfully. It probably works like a wood cutting board, but it doesn't move around on the counter, so it's really nice to use to roll out and knead dough. It also cleans up nicely and easily. I don't need to worry about washing it with water too often, as I do with the wood cutting boards. Glad I registered for it, not really knowing it's benefits. Highly recommend.

What a waste
At first when I saw this mat I was so excited and thought it was pretty cool because I love crate and barrel and I was looking for something to place on my countertop that could stay there all the time and match my kitchen. It looked so modern and thought it would be a great item to have. In the past, I used to always use a cutting board when I was preparing food or baking, but that got annoying having to put it on the countertop, clean it, and then have to put it away in the cabinet. So this seemed like a nifty little invention and just what I was looking for. The first problem I have with this item is that one corner has always stuck up in the air. No matter what I tried to do to get it to lay flat, it wouldn't. It would always pop back up. The second problem I have is for what seemed to be an easy clean up actually turned into not being so easy. The grey silicone rim around the entire mat rubs off when you clean it and then the beige area is exposed through the grey silicone. Very tacky looking and I ended up having to throw it out. I don't think the price is so wonderful either for an item that rubs off when you clean it.

Great for pizzas, pies, and biscuits!
I bought this primarily for rolling out pizza dough (and preventing flour from covering our kitchen), but found that it's great for making pies and biscuits too.
I wasn't really sure how to go about cleaning it at first, but found that a little bit of warm water and a drop of soap makes clean up a breeze... it's always the last thing I wash and dries quickly when draped over the rest of my clean dishes.
This is also a lot cheaper than the french silicone mats you'll find at other kitchen stores. Overall, it's a great deal.

Can we cut pastry on it??
I think these mats are great but I have a question???? Can we cut pastry and cookie shapes with a metal cookie cutter on them without any damage to the surface. Hope someone can help advice.

Great for cookies!
These have been a lifesaver for me when I'm making cookies! They keep the cookies from burning when I'm baking. I've also used mine when I'm rolling out pie crust to transfer it to the pie pan.

great kitchen tool
I have the smaller mat, and i love how easy it is to clean. We had a finicky oven that was hard to control, but using the mat on a baking sheet yielded great cookies!
It's ability to roll up for storage is also a huge plus.

Love this Mat
We have the smaller mat, which fits perfectly into a C&B cookie sheet. Boy has this little wonder saved us from some cleaning! I love that it protects our cookie sheets from all the baked on grime that normally befalls them!

A BAKING MUST HAVE
I am a Family and Consumer Science (home economics) teacher have used these for years in my classroom and at home. These are a must have for cookies, breads, calzones, etc. They keep your foods from sticking, no greasing or spraying pans and also keep your baking sheets in great condition!

No mess!
As someone who loves to bake, but can't seem to keep things anywhere close to clean when i do it . . . these baking mats are fantastic! They can serve multiple purposes. I like to use them on the counter while I'm doing prep work and then easily dump the excess mess in the sink or trash. They clean up easily too!

Perfect Countertop Mat
I leave this baking mat on the roll-out shelf of my kitchen island - perfect for rolling out pie and pizza dough, shaping scones, making phyllo-wrapped triangles, etc. It works well and resists sticking even on hot and humid days. One of my favorite wedding gifts!!

Bakes perfect cookies
I use these mats on cookie sheets whenever I bake cookies, pastries, breads or biscuits. They come out perfect every time. Nothing sticks and the mats will usually just wipe clean with ease. I love them so much that I don't think I could bake without them.

love this for cookies!
have used the smaller size to line my aluminum baking sheet for cookies, biscotti, rolls...even chicken breasts! everything i have baked/cooked on these comes off so effortlessly. my only complaint is that i bought one when i should have bought two!! must go back and pick up another. these make baking and cleaning up so much easier!!!

These are great to have around. With kids I never know what has touched the counter after I have cleaned it. I love having a flat clean surface to use. They are easy to clean and to store.

I love these mats. I have both sizes and they both work great.
The counter mat works great for rolling out dough and the flexibility helps if the dough sticks.
The baking mat fits a half sheet pan size - it looked smaller and I thought that it would be small for my pan - but it fit great . Just something to be aware of when you buy it.
