Beautiful strong china
These dishes are beautiful, wash well and go with anything. We use the dishes everyday, they look lovely and wear well.
I compared my original plates to the new ones and you could not see any wear or marring, with the exception of those plates being replaced that have somehow been dinged on the edge. I've been using these dishes for years now.

Great china dinnerware.
Love this bone china dinnerware set. Would have given it five stars but returned to the store to get serving dishes but found they are very small and not big enough for a family to use unless you were doing mini appetizers. I was given great assistance in the store and we found a platter and bowl from another white bone china set that served my needs.

7 years and going strong
We got this off our registry in 2005, seven years later these dishes look fantastic. They have held up well even though we put them in our dish washer and microwave. They are surprisingly sturdy despite their fragile appearance. These are our every day dishes and we have suffered two casualties. One dish broke and a salad plate has a little chip. Other than that everything looks as it did when we bought them. I wish that the deeper bowl was a little bit deeper, but that is my only complaint. I would highly recommend these dishes!

Love it!
I registered for this for my wedding! I love it. I have fine china from my grandmother so I wanted something more casual but still elegant. This has met all my expectaions! I love it!

White Pearl
I was looking for a thin, white, elegant and durable plate and have found it with this pattern and design. They are pretty new, so I don't know how durable they are, but I'm very happy with my purchase!

excellent quality
The quality of this bone china is better than some of the really expensive formal china I looked at when registering. It's a beautiful creamy white, instead of the cold grayish white of non-bone china. Can't beat it. I bought my first few place settings in my early 20s and it's still my favorite over 10 years later.

I picked these settings to be my nice china. They are amazing and so practical. I love that you can throw them in the dishwasher and they are so elegant yet not too girly or showy for my husband. We have gotten so many compliments on them!

Beautiful China
This is a beautiful collection of classic dinnerware with the delicate pearls adding a special touch. Food just looks better on these dishes! We received these dishes as a wedding gift and love them! We use them for special occasions, store them in china protectors, and hand wash them and haven't had a crack or chip. They do seem very durable, I am just over-protective of my gorgeous dishes!

We registered for these dishes for our wedding! They are great! Sturdy! Pretty! And they can be used as casual dishes or dressed up for fancy dinners! I love that they work for all seasons, I just have to change my napkins and tablecloth!

Beautiful!
Beautiful microwave/dishwasher/over/freezer safe china? Talk about low maintenance! We registered for this for our wedding and completed our list with gift cards. Unfortunately the most exposure I've had to these dishes is packing them away nicely for a cross country move, and I haven't unpacked them since. Really looking forward to the day we have space to unpack and use them. They are really extremely pretty dishes. And the husband approved.

Love them!
We registered for these for our wedding and we received 2 full sets. We picked them because they are nice enough for the holidays, but casual enough for everyday use. The color is a nice crisp white, and I love the pearl detail. A plate cracked in the dishwasher, and CB replaced it right away. So glad we got these - we love them!

Beautiful dinnerware
We registered for this set after careful consideration-- the china is incredibly beautiful (a bright milky white shade), and is pleasing to the touch (lightweight but doesn't seem overly fragile). The little embossed detail on the edge give it a very elegant look-- this is nice enough for fine dining, but can also look great with more casual serving ware (or pops of color on a table!).

Functional and Attractive
This dinnerware is a very attractive design and makes for a nice looking table at meal time for guests or just the family. While it is nice looking and pleasing to the eye, it is also very functional. Not only can it go in the dishwasher, but it is safe in the microwave! More than one guest has commented on this nice looking dinnerware. I am very pleased with this dinnerware and planned to buy more as gifts.

Great Everyday Dish!
I have been using these dishes for about 2 years now and they don't even have a mark on them. They are very durable and are elegant enough for nice dinners. I would highly recommend this dish set.

Everything Cracks!
I received this dining set as a wedding gift. Two weeks after I received it, a bowl cracked in the microwave. Crate and Barrel replaced the bowl right away. I've had the set for 3 months now and two more plates have cracked, this time in the dishwasher. Now, I'm returning the entire set as this is clearly going to be an ongoing problem. I would not recommend this set. They are not dishwasher or microwave safe.

I love these dishes!
I think it is safe to say that these dishes are my favorite wedding registry item. I wanted white bone china with a little something, and this was exactly what I was hoping for. All of my friends and family have told me that they love them too. We don't even own them yet and I am getting compliments!
Most of our registry is items from Crate and Barrel because I just love their stuff as well as the service, the friendly staff people, and the organization of the website. And I was so touched when they gave my fiance and me an engagement present (the sweetest little vase) when we opened our registry. It is the little things that make such a big difference.

Beautiful, versatile, and sturdy
I searched all over different brand name department stores for the perfect dinnerware set for my wedding registry because I knew that I would have these for a long time. I wanted simple, timeless and versatile dinnerware that I can use everyday and elegant enough for those special occasions. When I saw these, I didn't search any more. They are fine bone china, which makes them thin and light, yet very sturdy. The white color is not a bleached white, but a soft luminous quality. These were more expensive than some other sets I considered, but worth every penny. I received 8 settings for my wedding, and that was over 4 years ago. I love, love, love everything about them. Everything positive that everyone else has said here is true! I just bought more to increase to 12 settings. I use them everyday, put them in the dishwasher and microwave, and they still look brand new. They make my everyday meals look and feel special. Crate and Barrel, please keep these in stock forever, just in case I need more in the future!

My favorite registry choice!
We've had these dishes for 6 months, and I still get excited to use them everyday. They are a beautiful, bright white, and the small dots make them more interesting than plain white dishes. They are thin and light weight yet very strong and durable. I'm clumsy and my husband is notorious for stacking dishes dangerously in the sink, and we've had no problems with chips or breakage (knock on wood :). I really could not be happier with the White Pearl dinnerware.
