Great quality and appearance!
I've been searching and searching for just the right coasters for my new end tables and these are absolutely perfect! My table tops are different shades of slate and these coasters blend in like they were made for the tables! I think that nice looking, nice quality coasters are very hard to find and Crate and Barrel actually had several to chose from. I agree with another product review that the edges are sharp so I may have to put them away when my grandchild is here but other than that, they are FANTASTIC!

Great Coasters
They do what they are meant to do. The edges are sharp but I just filed them down while a nail file. They have some weight to them which is nice.

coolest coasters
I loved the look of these coasters. They are somewhat absorbent, which works for me. I wish they had cork bottoms rather than felt bottoms. They felt can get stuck to sticky things on the table and can be pulled off in pieces.

I love these!
These are great! They are not too heavy and they are nice enough to just leave out on the tables. Also, I stole the idea and used them as place cards wit the chalk! Great idea and looked really nice!

Great Coasters / Accents
I love these coasters. They do the job yet feel like decorative accents rather than functional items. You don't have to worry about chipping them either (not that mine have - just saying)!

Good quality
I really like these coasters, so much so, in fact, that we got two sets. They're actually nice looking and best of all, they absorb moisture instead of just let it pool. I've had issues with coasters in the past sticking to glasses and whatnot - these do not do that. They're durable, too - you can tell they're good quality.

Finally a real coaster!
I have purchased just about every type of coaster there is - beaded, cloth, cork, glass, leather and all of these coasters would leave water on the coffee table(glass) or the water would settle on top and spill everywhere when moved. These are the perfect coaster and the water just seems to evaporate. I have had many compliments and they are more beautiful than in the picture.

Sharp edges
Very interesting and beautiful looking but not practical... The edges are very sharp, may damage your furniture. Keep away from kids.

Attractive coasters
We love these coasters because of the look. I am always a little concerned about the weight and the corners - I am clumsy and know I will drop one eventually (this is why it's not a 5-star review). Great indoors or out.

Get the making slate boards too!
I love these coasters! They are unique, neutral and go with almost any style of home decor! I bought the making slate cheese boards - the combination is perfect for entertaining!

Slate Coasters
These coasters are beautiful-we received a set as a wedding gift and then supplemented with an additional set.
The edges are VERY sharp, I worry sometimes about dropping one by mistake and gouging my furniture or hurting myself-but hey, I'm clumsy. Non clumsy people may not have the same worry!
