Beautiful but NOT balanced
This flatware is really beautiful! We have had ours for several years, and they stay beautiful. HOWEVER, they are so unbalanced (handles are very heavy) they constantly fall off your plate if you are carrying it. Can damage wood floors, bruise a toe.. just be forewarned. It will make you a little crazy.

Fantastic product
When shopping for my wedding registry, I fell in love with this set the moment I held it. I wanted strong, durable flatwear but still beautiful. Too many sets are flimsy or light (makes it feel like you couldn't cut or stab any food), but this was solid and strong AND - equally important - it is beautiful, simple and sophisticated - that I could pair this with my good China.

Wonderful set
We received this silverware as a wedding gift and absolutely love it! While modern, the pieces have such a classy, pretty shape and have a substantial weight to them. We have had many compliments on this set.

Great Flatware!
Wow, this really is an excellent set! They are heavy and sturdy feeling and actually, are very smooth to the touch. We received them as a wedding gift and just love them! A great buy and very handsome.

Go with something else.
This flatware was poorly designed. I love the look of it, I think it's beautiful, but the rounded ends of each piece are very heavy - every time I put this stuff on a plate to carry somewhere (you do this more often than you think!) I have to make sure it's lying perfectly on the plate. One inch too far off and the heavy end sends it falling to the floor. It's frustrating to have your flatware always falling off your plates, especially after dinner when it's all dirty. I have a feeling the makers of these pieces didn't actually try to eat with them before mass producing. It's pretty, but I wish we had gotten something else.

Solid and Classic Flatware
I received a full set of this flatware for my wedding. They are really great pieces with a very solid feel to them. I love the clean lines of the design and feel like this set will always be in style

Well Worth the Purchase
I had only seen this flatware online; but it caught my eye immediately. Looking to replace our very old with something new; charming yet classy, it was the perfect find. It can be used for the most elegant dining or casual dining. I particularly like it's weight; great to handle and impressive to use. It was well worth the purchase.

Love this set
I had registered for the Charlemagne Flatware off the website for my wedding. I was absolutely thrilled when I received it since I had only seen the picture on the website! The silverware is heavy, yet elegant and it will serve well for casual dinning as well as formal.
I am purchasing the matching three-piece serving set today!

Simply Wonderful
We truly love our flatware, received as a wedding gift! It is comfortable in the hand, and beautiful on the table. Also very versitile - can be used with our everyday and formal china, if needed.

Best Silverware
These are very heavy duty silverware that you would not be able to wear it out your life time. Beautiful styling that is timeless. It will look great on your table twenty years from now. The only issue I could see is that the silverware is a little on the heavy side; which is fine by me. I like a fork or spoon that wont bend but some people may find it to heavy.

Elegant and Substantial
I love my flatware! It is a classy simple design and substantial in weight and size, I really don't care for lightweight or thin flatware because it just doesn't feel as nice in your hand. I put this set in the dishwasher and it handles the heat and detergent really well!!! I haven't lost one piece in the two years I have had it because of scratches or rust spots. Many of my guests thought that I pulled out my fine silver for them because it is so impressively elegant and has held up so well to daily use!
