A Must-Have in Every Kitchen
I purchased this knife for my husband who does the majority of the cooking. He is pretty particular about his knives. He owns other Wusthoffs, Henckels, and Shun knives. He said this knife is one of the best he owns. He uses it daily. Even I like using this knife for cutting everything from fruit to meat. Great knife and a great price!

(Almost) The only knife you need
With the Wusthof Santoku and the Wusthof 4" paring knife, I could survive in the wild, I think. My dad taught me never to go cheap when buying tools, whether it's a knife or a chain saw, and that mantra holds true here. This is a supremely sharp, well-balanced knife that your culinarily-inclined great-grandchildren will one day fight over.

Great Knife!
I have the 7 inch Santoku classic. It is now the only knife I use. Perfection.

It's Wusthof - what else can you say?
I bought the 7" Santoku on markdown. Just like all the other reviews say, this is a fabulous, perfectly sharp knife that makes cutting veggies as easy as cutting butter. Would highly recommend.

Very sharp!
Makes cooking so much easier - my husband is happy to make dinner so he can use his Santoku knife. It's the first knife we reach for in our kitchen, and we hope to add more Wusthof knives to our collection over time.

Worth every penny
Wusthof knives are the absolute best knives available. Classic black is the best line - don't skimp and go for the cheaper lines. The Classics will last you a life time. They are comfortable to hold, have a a nice weight to them, and, with proper care, stay sharp for ages. For a cook who is in the kitchen just a few days a week I'd recommend the 4" Paring knife and the 7" Hollow Ground Santoku knife for starters.

Favority knife
The Hollow Ground 7" Santoku Knife is basically the only knife I use. It's the perfect knife and well worth the investment. Best to hand wash.
