Classic look

Just What I Was Looking For
This butter dish was just was I was looking for. I wanted a serving dish that was durable and simple, yet nice enough that I could put it out on our table when we have guests over for dinner. This one did the trick. The only thing that could be improved would be to add a little knob on the top to make it easier to lift the cover off of the tray. But it's still the best one I found after looking everywhere for a simple, affordable white butter tray.

Perfect Butter Dish
I love this butter dish. It's large enough to hold one regular stick of butter, pretty enough to sit out on your counter or table, and durable enough to stick in your dishwasher.

Very useful and for a great price
I was given this butter dish as part of a housewarming gift. I had been looking for a basic butter dish for a while, that wouldn't leave butter on the sides. This is a great size and does not smear the butter or cause it to stick to the sides of the lid. It might sound like a simple request, but one less thing to have to worry about cleaning works for me!

Fits a stick of butter
Other butter dishes I've tried have looked pretty, but the slope of the lid makes it stick to the butter. This lid has ample room to go over the stick of butter without touching it. It looks good with any table setting because of it's simple, white design. It cleans great in the dishwasher. One time, however, my knife slipped and I chipped the base. I was so happy with this dish though, that I bought a replacement.

one big butter dish....
This butter dish is bigger than I expected.
The bottom plate has an outline that is suited for thin long sticks of butter. I use the shorter fatter sticks so I'm not sure how this will look. Not exactly what I was looking for but I will probably keep anyways....

simple, easy to clean
we use this in and out of the fridge, fits well in the "butter" section of our fridge door, and works well on the table as well. matches with all the other white ceramic stuff we have from CB.

Wish it had a handle
I like this butter dish, but sometimes I wish it had a handle on the top so that it was easier to get the top off. It sometimes can slip when you're removing it and then the cover gets butter on the inside. Other than that, it's perfect!

butter fingers
My butter dish of many years slipped out of my hand last week. You dont know how much you use something until you dont have it anymore. My dishes were not available anymore but still I found this one that matches perfect with my things. It is generous in size. love it!

Clean and simple

Straightforward Butter Dish
It is what it is -- a simple, basic butter dish. The smooth edges and crisp whiteness of the dish makes it look nice when you have company over, but I wouldn't necessarily store this in the fridge after we ate; the dish is a bit too wide for that.
