Bought this to serve a special soup for Easter. It looked beautiful on the table and kept the soup nice and warm.

Don't buy ladle
Soup tureen is nice. The ladle that is supposed to match, doesn't. The lid won't close.

Like this tureen
I purchased this from my friend's wedding registry. I like soup tureens because when not in use they display well. This one has clean lines that would blend well with any china pattern. I also purchased the footed soup bowls and ladle.

Versatile home must have
This tureen can be taken from oven to table and can be used for anything from stews to one pot dishes. It looks elegant but is practical. Wow your guests or just use at the kitchen table to make your meal so much more enjoyable. I use mine often as my cooking looks so much better in it!

pretty okay
Quite a lovely product, but I wish it kept the soup warm for a longer period of time. Soup stayed warm for about 30 minutes.

Beautiful and Durable
I purchased this item with the matching porcelain ladle as a gift. I was impressed by its size and appearance, but I was mostly impressed by its durability. While transporting this item from store to parking lot, the bottom dropped out of the box and the tureen fell about 3 feet onto the concrete. Despite an incredibly loud noise, the tureen was completely undamaged. I breathed a huge sigh of relief and took it home to wrap it. Obviously there is no guarantee that if the same thing occurred at a different time the outcome would be as favorable, but in my experience, this tureen is a winner!

white footed soup tureen
This is a beautiful piece for using in casual or more formal dinners. It is elegant and simple and would blend with any dinner service. I found the size to be rather small, but for more intimate occasions it is perfect!! You will need your own ladle,but you can be creative and colorful there. High marks for adaptability. It would set off any soup you serve!!

Just BEAUTIFUL
I received this as a Christmas gift, and it's even prettier in person than in the pictures. The soup toureen holds a resonable amount of soup/gumbo/chili, and many of my friends and family have commented on it's clean, yet sophistcated, look.

Great Tureen
I bought the Footed Soup Tureen to match the Footed Soup Bowls I received for my wedding and I love it. It completes the set and holds a large amount. I do wish is came with a matching ladle and wish it had the same handles that the soup bowls have. When it is full of hot soup it is hard to carry. But overall I love it!
