Glad to finally have a gravy boat!
Every year when Thanksgiving and Christmas roll around, and the gravy gets served in a glass Pyrex measuring pitcher, I swear to myself that next year, I'm going to serve our gravy in a more fitting way, and every year I forget, until now.
This boat and its saucer are simple, of a good size, and will go with any table settings.
It arrived quickly, and was very well packed. I'm very pleased with it. Now I'm all ready for the 2012 holiday meals!

LOVE this server for all kinds of sauces!!!
This beats any other gravy boat I've ever seen. It's incredibly convenient to have the saucer (to contain drips) and yet to be able to separate the server from it (to reheat contents in the microwave, to fit more easily into the dishwasher, and to stack more compactly for storage). I often use two or three in a single meal: for salad dressing, for gravy for the main course, and for a dessert sauce for fruit or ice cream. Great for heating applesauce or maple syrup in the microwave and then serving for pancakes or waffles. Both pieces clean up beautifully in the dishwasher -- any leftover syrup or gravy just seems to melt off. Takes a bit of space for storage but is so totally worth it!

Perfect Gravy Boat with Saucer
At Christmas I discovered that I didn't have a good way to serve gravy. Now I do! I love this gravy boat with saucer and the white color goes with everything. Plus, it's a perfect size!

Pours well and doesn't drip much- saucer to catch any mess- you can't go wrong. Great item- looks nice on the table and functions well!

Broken
I received this as a wedding gift and I loved it! During our second Thanksgiving my MIL broke it doing the dishes. I went out the next day and bought another one!!

Simple and Elegant
I absolutely love this gravy boat. It is not overly ornate so it will blend in with my existing dinnerware. It is well made and not so delicate that you're concerned it will chip if accidentally clinked into something. Reasonably priced, excluding shipping (but that's the life of an online shopper). Gravy boats are the kinds of things you only use a couple of times a year but are dearly needed. Who wants to serve their guests gravy out of a bowl? Just a side note, I especially enjoyed getting a thank you card with my purchase. This adds a personal, nostalgic touch that many big businesses have gotten away from. It might be expected from a larger purchase but with a gravy boat it was a pleasant surprise. Way to go C&B!

My daughter-in-law asked for a gravy boat for Christmas. She was very happy with this one. She likes that it goes well with their dinnerware. It was delivered quickly and in good condition.

i added this to my registry online, without seeing/feeling it in person. Boy, was i surprised! the others who posted reviews had great things to say, but i love this gravy boat. it is the perfect size and not heavy to my standards. a must have staple in all homes.

Even better than expected!
I really just needed a gravy boat, and I didn't want to spend a lot of money on it. Crate & Barrel hasn't ever let me down, so I stopped by the store and scooped this up. I don't really think I even looked at it until I got home. Once I unwrapped it and examined it a little closer, I could only shake my head as I realized how nice it actually is. Great lines. Not too bulky or to fragile. Just the right size, and the boat pours clean - no drips or spills. Had a formal Thanksgiving table set, and this piece fit right in - but it would be great for a casual get together, too. Although, I pretty much only use a gravy boat at thanksgiving. Might have to think of more uses. Choc. sauce for ice cream? Yum..
