Stays HOT!

Great carafe!
I looked for a long time before choosing a carafe. I love the size. It holds enough that I don't feel like I have to refill it constantly during a party. It's eye catching.... and holding :o) I was concerned that we might constantly be wiping fingerprints off of it, but I really don't have too so I love it all the more! I plan to buy a 2nd one to have one for reg and one for decaf coffee at parties.

I am very picky person. I have been shopping for a good quality carafe for several months. I knew I could buy a cheap carafe at local discount stores but wanted one that last. I always go to Crate & Barrel because of the quality of their merchandise.

Excellent buy
I bought this at Christmas in red and not only is it a great color, but it does exactly what it's supposed to do...keeps the coffee hot for hours. It's sleek, modern and requires little care. This would also make a great gift for serious coffee drinkers.

Great product!
I recently used this for a party and not only does it look sleek and fancy, it really keeps the coffee really hot. Hours later, it was still steaming hot. A must have item!

Stays Shiny
Before I got this carafe I was a little worried it would get scratched up. So far, with hand washing, it has stayed shiny. Keeps the coffee hot for as long as it takes me to drink it.

Stays hot all day long!
Bought this at Christmas to entertain, and we now use it every day because of how wonderfully it works. This carafe keeps coffee piping hot for a minimum of 4 hours in our experience, and even after 6-8 hours the coffee comes out pretty warm. My only minor nitpick is that it is hard to keep the mirrored surface from picking up smudges, but it cleans off pretty well and for the price, I can't complain!

Cute and Functional
My husband and I registered for this carafe, and it was one of the items I was most excited to receive. Not only do I love the look of the finish, but it keeps our coffee hot for hours! We forgot to wash it out one night, and the next morning the coffee inside was still warm - over 24 hours after it had been brewed. This is definitely worth the money, and I'm excited to use it when we have guests over.

Practical Carafe
I needed a carafe that keeps coffee hot for hours, looks good, and cleans up well. This is it. But-- it pours so awkwardly that coffee spashes everwhere if I try to pour into a thermos. Pouring into a cup works fine though.

90% great, 10% terrible
The carafe is handsome and it holds
heat well. The trouble is with the lid
which is a piece of junk. The lid on
my carafe broke three days into use.
After repair, it suvived two weeks then
broke apart beyond repair. The
coffee flow when the tab is pressed
is not much more than a dribble.

Have bought this carafe twice. The first time was a few years ago and my husband dropped it. We were thrilled to be able to still find it. We use it every day. After the coffee is brewed, it automatically goes in the carafe and we can carry it to any room to enjoy our morning coffee. It holds a full pot, is easy to clean, looks good and keeps coffee hot throughout the morning. Hope it will be available for a long time, you never know what my husband might do.

Great carafe
Purchased two of these for a summer outdoor party we had. Were able to hold tons of coffee, still had coffee left over. Kept the coffee hot throughout the night. Received compliments on how shiny and great they looked. Would buy more or as gifts if needed.

Average
The Mirror Carafe keeps coffee hot for at least 5 hours, the coffee does not last longer than that in my household. I would rate the carafe as average, it has a plastic look and feel. It does not pour very well as the coffee splashes its way out. I am okay with the purchase but want to be clear that this is an average item.

I just received my mirror carafe, and it is indeed beautiful. I have a problem, however. It has a push auto pour button, but I can't open the top to pour ice or water into it. How do I open the top?
