Great for slowing down and enjoying!
We love the Bodum french press - it's perfect for truly enjoying a good cup of coffee. We use it a lot over the weekend - the whole process makes it feel like a special experience. Great quality, every time.

Only coffee drinker...and it's perfect
We received this as a wedding gift and a year later I finally opened it up because I was tired of brewing a pot just for me. I love it! I actually think I'm drinking less coffee since I get so much more flavor from the french press. I also use the Cuisinart kettle to get the perfect water temperature. Like another reviewer, I use a chopstick to stir the grinds. I think it's a great tip to share.

Loving our French press
Great product that we use daily! Cuts down on our carbon footprint and makes a great brew. We really no longer have a need for our "old" regular coffee maker.

fantastic!
Have used this product for years: this size for when we have guests and a smaller, single-serve (12 oz) size for everyday. Could not be easier to use, makes great coffee. But I think 2 other great benefits are that there are no electrical things to go wrong with it and the small footprint, i.e. it stores easily, so it's not necessary to keep on the countertop (like an electric coffeemaker), but attractive enough to do so if you want to. Highly recommend!

Great Coffee, Finally!
I've never been great at making coffee until we invested in this little number! It takes up almost no space on the counter and is incredibly easy to use (once you know what you're doing:).
For medium strength coffee, I bring water to a boil in the Capressa electric kettle. I add 2 Tbsp. of coarse ground coffee (coarse grinds = very important!) per cup of water used. Put the grinds into the glass, pour in the water (as it just stops boiling), and stir with a chopstick or mini whisk. Put the lid back on but do not plunge for 3-4 minutes (while the coffee steeps). Once it steeps for a few minutes, slowly plunge the mesh down to the grinds. Keep the plunger straight so that no grinds slip through.
Hold the lid, while you pour, and enjoy!
Note: It will take some experimenting to find out how you like your coffee best but once you find your perfect brew, you are good to go! We have saved a bunch by making our own coffee in the morning (in five minutes!) rather than standing in line to pay $5 a cup. Enjoy!

I love my Chambord French Press cofffee maker. It is easy to use and clean; not to mention the coffee is out of this world!
When I served a cup to my Grandfather, he said the smell and taste took him back to when he was in the war and brewed coffee over a fire with a similar type coffee press!

Best Purchase Ever
After making french press coffee, I will never go back to drip coffee. This particular press is easy to clean and store and the coffee is fresh and strong. Grind your beans instead of using ground coffee for an even more delicious cup!

First French Press and I love it!
This is the first french press I have purchased and I couldn't be happier. SO easy to use and clean. I can make the perfect amoubt of coffee depending on the circumstance and I'm saving a fortune skipping the coffee shops! I bought this bodum based on the reviews and they were spot on!

The Perfect Wedding Gift

Wicked good coffee
I finally did it...bought a coffee press. How I went so long without ever drinking coffee in this manner I will never know, but I'm glad I finally did it. The coffee tastes better and better every time I make a cup of coffee with this french press. I've already recommended it to family so they have it when I come over! Not ever using a press before, I thought it might be a bit more work than a regular coffee maker, but not so much. It takes me the same amount of time to use it. Definitely worth the purchase!

Favorite wedding registry item!
This is our favorite item that we received off our wedding registry. We use it every single day (and sometimes twice a day) and it consistently makes a fantastic cup of coffee. We've gotten so spoiled now that we can't go back to drinking from our drip machine. Our only problem is with the wire mesh layer, which has come apart at the edges, but I see that I can purchase just this part for a few dollars online. A great buy!

I have had this product for years and years and completely love it. It's easy to use, easy to clean and makes great coffee or loose tea. It's great for making coffee/tea for 1-2 people. Naturally, when mine broke while moving, I ran out and bought a new one 2 days later. I typically use it daily, rather than using my big coffee machine.

a new favorite gadget
We love this french press. It is the perfect size for two large mugs of coffee. This is my first french press and its amazing how much better the coffee tastes. Some people might be put off thinking this is more "work" then a drip coffee maker, but really its about the same number of steps after the water is boiled.

Perfect Cup of coffee
Based on an article in Cook's magazine declaring that the french press offerred the best cup of coffee we purchased this one. It's easy to use and clean and does offer a great cup of coffee - you need to purchase the Krups grinder too - they offer two - but the Krups grinder ($19) was rated on consumer reports so that's what we went with
