Great blender
Powerful. Great for smoothies as it crushes the ice so fast. Love the fact the the pitcher is one piece. Highly recommend.

Love it!
Best blender I have ever had. First one ever that doesn't leak, YEA!!! Love the one piece design, as I always had trouble undoing the bottom of the other blenders to clean them. Yes, they are loud, but a small price to pay for excellence.

Powerful and easy to clean!
The blade is very powerful and it is very easy to clean. I've made everything from smoothies to soups in this blender. The glass is quite heavy but durable, so it's ok. The Kitchenaid brand is reliable and it compliments other Kitchenaid items in my kitchen!"

This Blender Rocks
I was able to use my new blender for the first time last night, and it is no joke great. It made perfect margaritas, no leaks, smooth, a little loud, but I think that's to be expected with all of that ice. And it's so substantial. I can tell it's going to be with me for the long haul!

Blender works well
We use this blender several times a day and it works great. We make smoothies and the blender is able to completely crush the ice.

Sorry KitchenAid....keep trying
When I needed a new blender I searched online to find one that would fit my need for making protein smoothies using frozen fruit. I decided on this model, liking the fact that the pitcher and blade assembly was all one piece - no leaking. I found out this is not a good way to go when your blender breaks, then the whole pitcher assembly would need to be replaced - very costly. Luckily my blender was still under warranty as it had only been 2 MONTHS! I only used the blender about 3 days a week making the smoothies. Had I taken to heart what other reviewers were saying about the KitchenAid, I would have realized that I was buying a product that had many unhappy customers and some satisfied customers. I was still hopeful....!

KitchenAid 5 Speed Metallic Blender
I chose this blender because of the superior reviews online. I especially liked that the pitcher was one vs. two pieces to avoid leakage. This is an incredibly powerful blender, and works like a dream.
The only negative is noise. It's incredibly loud, but I don't mind because of the product quality compared to other blenders I've owned. It crushes ice and frozen fruits very well.
