Rated 5 out of 5 by from You get what you pay for Fine sheets are a long-term investment. My daughter uses these in her guest bedroom where I stay often. They are pure heaven though she has had them for years. These sheets are both soft and durable and only seem to get better with age. A good sheet set will last many years, even decades, so what's the difference if you pay a little more up front?Well worth the investment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful set For the most part, I like these sheets. Although they are crisp & always wrinkled my major complaint is the amount of shrinkage after placing in the dryer. Fitted bottom sheet is ok; however, the top sheet now only comes down a few inches on each side. Can not do a "hospital corner" let alone tuck it in if wasn't for a blanket. Disappointing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from sad I love Crate & Barrel but am very disappointed over these sheets. I washed them in a gentle cycle, dried them on low and the wrinkles are unbelievable. Never again and I have bee buying sheets for many years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous pattern I've had my eyes on these sheets for YEARS...I love the design and colors. Finally purchased this past winter and I'm delighted with them. Now if they would just bring back that cotton sateen two shades of green quilt I first saw with them I'd be even happier. :o)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lots of wrinkles I have a love-hate relationship with these sheets. They are so soft and beautiful, the colors are subdued but elegant, and they look fantastic on the bed. BUT, they are a wrinkled mess when they come out of the dryer and after sleeping on them. No matter what setting I use in the washer or dryer, they come out in giant wrinkled wads. No amount of smoothing with my hands or carefully pulling them out changes that. So, because I love them so much, I iron them. Every week. If you're willing to put in the time to iron then I'd suggest getting them because they are sooo soft and beautiful. But if you hate a rumpled bed, avoid them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not worth the money We received these for our wedding. The sheets wrinkle so badly!! The sheets are not soft, especially for $150! However, the duvet cover doesn't seem to wrinkle as much, and looks beautiful. I'd say, skip the sheets, buy the duvet cover and shams for the same look.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't bother I bought these sheets as well as a duvet cover 2 years ago. The sheets never softened and are always wrinkled. Last month I awoke to my foot entangled in the bottom fitted sheet. It had shredded. These were not comfortable sheets. Disappointing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Severe Wrinkling I looked at many stores trying to find a nice high quality patterned sheet set with a bit of orange in it. When I finally located such a pattern at Crate and Barrel I was delighted. Unfortunately, I failed to read the reviews before purchasing. I've only ever bought two sheet sets that have had severe wrinkling problems and this is one of them. I would use them more but every time I use them I have to iron the pillowcases and the top part of the top sheet; otherwise, they look terrible. Even a Rowenta iron doesn't produce enough steam to get rid of the wrinkles by itself and I have to use a spray bottle in addition to the iron to get a smooth finish. As another reviewer noted, the top sheet does also shrink more than would reasonably be expected. The pattern is beautiful but given the wrinkling and price of the sheets they weren't worth the inconvenience of using them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beautiful, but that's it I just washed our king size Sakura sheets and got mad all over again, and that's why I'm writing this review. The design is absolutely gorgeous. As other reviewers have mentioned, the sheets are all deep-set wrinkles when they come out of the wash and I don't have time to iron them. I haven't tried the permanent press setting on the washing machine, maybe that would help. The flat sheet can also just barely be tucked in on both sides and after one night of sleep, it's only tucked in at the bottom (I do find the length to be fine, it's the width that is way too short). Also, the cotton is very crisp and I prefer softer sheets. I know that is a personal preference, but wouldn't have bought them if I knew they were so crisp. They haven't softened up after many washes either. I registered for and received these sheets as a wedding gift. I would have been furious if I had paid that amount of money for them. I will be very hesitant to buy Crate & Barrel sheets again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice but flat sheet needs to be wider It is a very pretty pattern and sheet are nice. I bought this for my mother's room. I have a full size bed for her and bought Full/Queen coverlet. She does not like the fact that the full size flat sheet does not match up with F/Q coverelet. She asked me to buy her a queen size flat sheet. However, the flat sheets are not sold separately so I will have to buy the entire queen size set just to get a flat sheet. I feel that is a waste since I do not need the other pieces.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap sheets These sheets do look beautiful until you wash them. Then they look like you bought them for $20.00. Even ironing doesn't help. Very disappointed, considering the price. Thought I was really treating myself to a great set of sheets. Do not buy them!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn't last long. I get online today because my sheets tore when I pulled them up one night. And lo and behold, I see these - the exact sheets I'm replacing. I purchased these in December 2007, have only used them once per month. (They're in a four week rotation). They're washed hot, dried cool, and promptly put away in the linen closet. Most sheets last longer. I expect at least a decade of use, so this was a disappointment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A fine set Background is paler (closer to white) and colors are brighter than appears on my monitor. The print is bright and crisp, not "watercolor-like." These are really wonderful sheets. I wish that the flat sheet extended farther down the sides of the bed. Very important: These are 100% cotton, so if you must have perfectly smooth sheets you will discover an ironing nightmare on your hands.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty BUT... We love the color and fit. However, like others have mentioned, the fact that it's so wrinkly after its been washed makes it not worth it at all. This was our first bed set from C&B. The second set was much better -- wrinkle free and all because it was cotton sateen, not 100% cotton. Definitely learned our lesson. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless they have time to iron the sheets!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grandma's best sheets These sheets, after a few washings gain the feel (but a better look!) of well loved sheets akin to those that my grandmother used to have around. The high non-sateen thread count of the sheets mean they gave a substantial weight, wash up like a dream, and will last for years.
