Bought two
This is my second purchase of this coffee maker. My first one lasted almost 5 years. I have had one problem with it and it was with the part that contains the beans. I called Cuisinart and they sent me a replacement piece for free. I did have my receipt and code from the box as proof of purchase. This makes fantastic coffee but you do have to clean the hopper regularly.

Would not buy again.
This coffee maker sounds really great until something goes wrong. Mine had problems with the rotating filter cover nearly from the start. (Actually just after I couldn't return it any more).
I have to clean it daily and spend about 10-15 min each morning trying to get it to work. It has now stopped working entirely and will only rotate the filter cover spewing water out the sides. I will get a more basic model with a grinder separate.

Great value
This s a great coffee maker. I have been using mine now for several years and it has been maintenance free. The programmable capability allowing you to wake up to a fresh pot of coffee is awesome. It is also a nice scale and isn't overwhelming on your kitchen counter top. The stainless steel is attractive and contemporary. It is a great value that will last for years.

So happy
I bought this coffee maker for myself a while back. My mom admired it so much that I ended up buying one for her as a gift. She actually teared up when she opened the box. We both continue to enjoy this coffee maker every day :) I would definitely recommend it!

Good
My husband and I really like this coffee maker. In the last 6 years, we've had two different coffee makers from a different brand and they were undesirable. We've had this for few months now and we are really enjoying it.

This thing is awesome. grinds the beans straight into the filter then automatically brews fresh coffee.

Great tasting coffee
My husband bought the Cuisinart Grind & Brew coffee maker for my birthday. I had been wanting one ever since we went over to dinner at our friends house a few months back. The coffee was outstanding and I asked my friend what coffee maker she had. She showed me and it was the Cusinart Grind & Brew coffee. Best coffee every ttime! I love it.

Love this coffee machine!
This is the best coffee machine I've ever had! It's easy to use and program; I had it grinding and brewing within a couple minutes of reading the instructions. And I love that it has a water filter, so I can quickly fill it with good old tap water. And the freshly ground coffee it makes is even better!

Good idea but faulty execution
The idea of fresh ground coffee every morning with minimum effort is great but Cuisinart needs to fix some issues on its new product:
1. The coffee was disappointingly weak - so the calibration between water measure and cup measure was not accurate - I had to signal 8 cups were being brewed before I got a reasonable 4 cups of coffee - very expensive proposition
2. Grinding this amount of beans meant I had to clean out the fine coffee grounds that got stuck between the grinder and coffee filter basket, more often than not. Otherwise all we got was hot water and no coffee.
3. There is no tool to clean out the coffee grounds that get stuck in this manner
4. Expected a bit more quality from a coffee maker that costs so much.
I called Cuisinart and they said this should not happen and that I should replace the machine, This was the second machine we were returning within a three-week period. So we went back to the old standard Cuisinart with basic features. Hope we wont need another trip back! to Crate and Barrel!!

favorite wedding gift!
we received this as a wedding gift and can not live without it! Coffee is awesome tasting. The grinding is quite loud, so we actually use it as our alarm and the actual alarm clock as a snooze. We love love love it!

Excellent Coffee Maker
I disagree with the previous post... perhaps you got a faulty model? We got ours after we bought one for my parents as a gift... they raved about how fresh and HOT the coffee was, so we had to try for ourselves! Well, it's certainly a step above the bargain model we'd been using from college. We program the maker to turn on at 6:15 every morning, and it works like a charm - we've never had trouble with this feature. It's also nice to not have to load coffee beans in each time, since it stores about a week's worth for us. All in all, we absolutely love this maker, and we'd definitely recommend it!

Do Not Purchase
This is a terrible product and I am very dissapointed. I watched the video and read the instructions but can't get the thing programmed to brew automatically. I have had the machine for 4 days and only got 1 pot of coffee from it and that was the first try. I have successfully brewed 3 pots of hot water since. The grinder does not work. The hopper is hard to lock in place. The water resivoir does not register the correct amount of water. The one time the grinder did work it was very loud. Junk.
