Farrow 44 Corner Media Console is rated 4.0333 out of 5 by 30.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect fit! My husband and I bought this for our 32" flat screen. We wanted a stand that wouldn't necessarily make the TV the focal point of our living room, but also something substantial enough to hold our media and components. I highly recommend that two people assemble this together! The instructions were clear, but the pieces could have been labeled more clearly. Lay out the pieces before you begin, and make sure to use the correct washers as you go! We put this together without any major issues, and it is the perfect footprint in our living room. The glass doors are a great feature, as you can still access cable boxes/streaming devices when they are closed. The 32" is a great size for this stand, as it doesn't hang over or look too small. Corner units are hard to find, but this fits the bill!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great corner TV stand Overall, I am very happy and satisfied with my purchase of this corner TV stand. This is a solid piece of furniture and the craftmanship is beautiful. Also, very pleased with the high quality of materials that are used in the construction. I love how the sliding glass doors look as well.I found the instructions to be very easy to follow and the assembly is relatively straightforward. I assembled it alone but it would definitely help to have 2 people. The one downside is that there definitely needs to be more detailed interior dimensions listed on the webpage. My cable box barely fit due to the angle of the sides that significantly reduce available space.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from no interior dimensions On an item this expensive, one has to know whether or not their components will fit or not. There are NO internal dimensions given. By carefully scaling the dimensioned example, I carefully measured and scaled my components both width and depth. Since I couldn't get the internal dimensions of the unit, the thickness of the panels and divider became critically important. This unit needs to be in stores so that careful dimensioning could be performed. That is why I couldn't just order a pig in a poke, thus my low rating.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Terrible assembly instructions Nice looking piece, but the assembly instructions were incredibly poor, which made for a long and frustrating process despite lots of recent experience with other assembly. Much cheaper products manage to label the panels with distinct letters and label the fasteners with distinct numbers. C&B doesn't, and therefore leaves you guessing which of the two "right panels" goes where, which of the unlabeled bolts/screws you're meant to use, etc. Be prepared to squint at a small diagram and try to copy it without any help from the narrative instructions. Once it was fully assembled, the front-most glass door (no matter which is used) falls out of its tracks because the frame piece seems to be manufactured poorly, with the grooves about 1/4 inch taller than the door. At $640 (with tax and shipping) for such a small piece, this is disappointing performance.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from A great piece, but limited utility We just purchased the Farrow corner media console. The unit looks great in our unit and despite some other reviews I found the instructions to be easy to follow and the assembly relatively straight forward compared to other flat pack pieces I have purchased from other retailers. Having a power screwdriver will definitely make assembly much easier as will having an additional person to help you with some of the steps. The piece was well designed in that you would never know from seeing it that it is designed to be assembled at home. The low rating is a result of our purchasing experience and the overall functionality of the piece, which was disappointing. The website schematic that shows dimensions is not accurate with regards to the interior space of this unit. It does not show that there is a partition in the middle of the unit that greatly diminishes what can actually be stored in the unit by making the unit extremely shallow for many electronic components. Our standard size dvr barely fits and our combo dvd player surround sound component did not fit at all so research this closely before buying this unit to make sure it will hold your components. The issue is that doing good research is next to impossible since stores do not have this unit on display and you have to rely on the online information, but the dimensions are not accurate for real world use. Hopefully this information can be added to the website to help shoppers make better purchasing decisions.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beware--not much fits inside! I ordered this media cabinet because it matched my new living room furniture and also because it was a space-saving corner unit. I estimated the interior dimensions from the exterior measurements given on the website and felt confident that my media components would fit inside the cabinet. With the exception of the DirecTV box, nothing fits! The angled sides of the cabinet significantly reduce the interior space. Components can't be slid back far enough to allow closure of the sliding doors. There is a midline partition that runs top to bottom in the cabinet and prevents centering electronic components, which if possible would have provided space enough for two pieces of equipment. That divider creates 4 equal areas for media components. It is not adjustable from side to side. (The shelves adjust up or down.) My receiver doesn't come close to fitting in any of the 4 sections; neither does my DVD player. Newer receivers are about the same size as my current model, so buying a new one won't help. Blu-ray players are smaller than my old DVD player and would fit--but why should I have to buy new equipment to suit this cabinet? My choice is to either place my receiver on top of the cabinet, hardly ideal, or partially disassemble the cabinet to saw off the top half of the center divider, so that the receiver can have the top shelf to itself. Either way, I will have to replace the DVD player. Why bother owning a cabinet at all if media components can't be placed inside? Who designed this cabinet and felt it to be satisfactory? I'm sorry because this is a nice looking piece of furniture. I was able to assemble it alone, but it took several hours to do so. After all that work, it was a sad moment when I realized that the cabinet needed alteration and at least one media component needed replacing to make the cabinet functional. I am not happy. I am going to ask C&B to pick up the cabinet and replace it with something larger, or refund my money. If they won't, I suppose it's time to get out my saw and start hacking.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Purchase As mentioned, this unit was easy to assemble, even for a novice, but two sets of hands helps at a few areas. Was concerned about interior space so I emailed Crate and Barrel and was sent the exact interior dimensions. Everything fit inside, including a new Bueray player. Blends well with any furniture style.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for TV This console is not only attractive, it is very functional. It fits neatly into the corner of our room, taking up a minimum of floor space. It easily accommodates our 47" TV and the interior houses and hides (yea!) all of the accessory pieces. Assembly was super easy (our 6 year old grandson helped).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Assembly Required? I thought about purchasing this media console a few months ago but decided against it when I found out shipping was $129 and assembly was required. I checked back to see if the shipping had been reduced and it has not. Why is shipping >$100 for something that is shipped in an "economical flat-pack"?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's fabulous! We are very happy and satisfied with this great buy. This is a solid piece of furniture and it's craftsmanship is beautiful. It's very classic, modern, contemporary, although this can go with any style. It's a timeless piece. The instructions were clear and the assembly was easy. All you need is a Phillips screw driver. The rest comes in the box. Unfortunately, we were missing only 1 washer. Hence, my rating of 4, but not a big deal. The money is worth it. You won't regret buying this media console!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid and beautiful This piece was such a great purchase! I was impressed with the quality of the piece. It was easy to assemble and makes all the difference in our living room, which now looks so much less full of tv clutter. Great purchase!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What were they thinking? Wonderfully built but can't over come the fact that it's too small for standard stereo receivers. Because of the center support divider the width of any electronic piece you plan to put in may be too large. This is just a bit of a problem if you plan to have surround sound with your TV. I've searched and the only units that seem to fit are Sony. Not thrilled about that. What were they thinking???

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great piece! We moved into a new house 2 months ago and I had been looking for a corner media consel for the upstairs living room that would fit the area. The upstairs is a bit more for formal compared to the informal living room down stairs. This corner piece worked perfectly and it's so chic and classy. I love it! The look and quality is fantastic! I would recommend this to anyone!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great look We looked for a corner media stand for awhile and decided on this one from C&B. The look is very nice and the color is great. The color pretty much matches our mahogany bar stools that we also got from C&B. The piece was pretty easy to put together but was a little time consuming, many screws. The piece does scratch pretty easily so that is why I am dinging it one star as well as one of the doors does not slide as smooth as the other but I assume this is due to how we put it together and something is just not lined up correctly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stores all I need I love this console! it has enough room to store everything that I need, the adjustable shelves are easy to move around. Only down side is the assembly wasn't as easy as I thought. I've been able to assemble all other proucts pretty easily--although with this one I had some difficulty.
