Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleek and Modern Book Case My fiance and I live in a smaller sized apartment and were looking for a modern bookshelf to showcase our decor and put our 50 inch TV on. This was the perfect purchase. The assembly only took 45 minutes to an hour--mainly because we aren't exactly what you would call "handy" people. It looks fantastic. We always get compliments when people come over. I highly recommend this product especially if you plan on moving in the future because it can be adaptable in different spaces as it can either go horizontally or vertically.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing bookcase! I love the versatility of this piece. It's quality (heavy), and the shelves are deep enough to hide things in the back, while storing your book and other things toward the front. Nothing but great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile piece!! We bought this bookcase to use as a media stand for now. My husband and I just got our first place together and could not find a console we loved without breaking the bank so I found this piece and thought this would be perfect so when the time comes and we find and can afford a media console we'll have a unique and lovely bookcase for the home as well. We love it. I put a cozy table runner along the top and have baskets and wood crates in the cubbies that are on bottom to hold blankets, games, dvds. In the top cubbies we have our cable box, dvd player, records and books on display very nice and neat. Thank you for such an awesome, affordable and versatile piece C&B!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what was pictured Love this product - fits my space perfectly and good quality. A little tricky putting together (needed 2 people), but was fairly easy. I did have an issue of some missing hardware but was provided with a replacement shelf within 2 days.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flexible, Functional and Funky! I bought 3 of these, and I LOVE them. I use two of them standing vertical on each side of my media console, and one horizontal in my dining room. Since I live in a condo, and space is tight, I especially adore these units. No one would know that my 1985 NES and 35 games are stored in cute grey box at the bottom of one of the shelves, or that all of my extra school supplies are in another basket on another shelf. All they see are the fun books, vases, and lamps that adorn the open spaces. I like that the back is open on some of the storage squares because it allows me to put things that need to be plugged in on those shelves. The large spaces are large enough to hold substantial storage boxes and baskets. They are solid, contemporary, and perfect for anyone who wants to add a little funk to the standard bookcase configuration. The only thing I don't like is that some of the little round holders that hide the screw holes fall off and expose the hardware.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent for the price I bought 3 of these over 6 years ago and have used two in our living room and one in our entry way. I love the way they look. We store files, shoes, books, photo frames and small lights in ours all the time, as well as our ipod speaker system. I also appreciate that they are so flexible, so I know that when we move they will be easy to incorporate into the new space in a variety of different ways. Great purchase. I am now considering a fourth one, all of these years later.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Bookcase! I bought this bookcase about a year ago and I absolutely love it. It is so versatile. You can use as a horizontal or vertical bookcase and both look great. The construction is very sturdy. I have books, DVDs and video games on the shelves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes for an excellent tv stand Love the clean and fresh look of the stand/bookshelf. The alternating shelves and back allows for a little color from the wall to come through - great accent! Sturdy enough for a flat screen tv, yet slim and streamlined. Our router and media boxes fit perfectly in the smaller boxes. Definitely recommend this if you are looking for a reasonable tv stand that fits in a smaller family room. No assembly problems here.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not just a bookshelf! I just bought this for my apartment in Jersey City to use as a TV Stand/Media Console. It brings the whole room together and looks sharp. The openings allow for the TV internet gadgets to fit nicely in and hides the wires. The other space give ample room for decor as well as the top surface. We have the TV sitting on the stand for now, but we may hang to create more room for vases and other decorations. GREAT PIECE.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks Great! Tough Assembly I purchased this bookshelf to place on its side as a media console. It looks great, holds all of my entertainment equipment, and still has plenty of room for books. My only complaint is that assembly was difficult. The dowels provided were not enough to support the weight of each shelf during assembly and they'd fall over and damage the wood. It finally came together and the items on the shelf cover any damage that was done. I suggest having two people for assembling. Now that it's been put together, I absolutely love the shelf.
