Rated 3 out of 5 by from KNIVES RUST/WATERMARKS We put these on our wedding registry and it has only been 3 months and the all of the knives have watermarks on the blade, some of them have begun to rust. On the knife is says Stainless Steel Handle, so I assume that means that the blade isnt SS. We wash them in the dishwasher, and heat dry, we dont leave them in there too terribly long so I dont know why its happened. That being said, all the other utensils are great!! It's dissapointing especially because theyre Reed & Barton, which always makes great stuff.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still beautiful after five years We received 12 sets for our wedding nearly five years ago and it's still just as pretty as the day we were married.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this flatware! We registered for this flatware for our wedding over 3 years ago; I love the classic look, and it has held up so well. The design is understated, so it can be paired with any dishes and not look out of place. We run it through the dishwasher constantly and haven't had any issues. The weight of it feels substantial - not like the cheap flatware that you can buy in a giant box at discount stores. This is made to last!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice everyday silverware We got 12 place settings for our wedding about a year and a half ago. So far, I am very happy with the selection. Like most stainless steel silverware that seems to be sold at Crate and Barrel - there is some spotting on the pieces after washing. We don't have a dishwasher, so I don't know how that would effect them - but if I don't want any spots on the handles or knife blades, I need to hand dry them with a polishing cloth. If I don't do that, there is occasionally some spots, but really nothing too bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Choice We got Grand Hotel II flatware when we gave our old set to our son for his new apartment. Couldn't be happier with our choice! It has a great look and feel and I happen to like the size of the pieces which are a little larger than our old ones. I recommend also getting the matching steak knives.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crate and Barrel Triumph! We have been buying place settings of this flatware over the past year. Just ordered a 120 piece set. I no longer drag out the "good stuff" for holidays. These are the good stuff now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality flatware, always stylish. I bought this Reed & Barton set 10 years ago from my bridal registry.  It is still beautiful, and its higher quality look has remained.  Even though I am sick of my glasses, and dishes, I still love this flatware.  After having children, I supplemented with the cheaper bead flatware by Wallace, and I'm sorry I did.  In less than a few years, that flatware has rust/stain spots (it is 18/10 stainless), while this C&B Grand Hotel by Reed has remained pristine.  Now that I realize I can buy the missing spoons my kids have thrown out individually here, I will definitely only be re-purchasing the original pattern by Reed & Barton through C&B, its worth the small amount of extra money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful ~~ love it. I recently bought 12 place settings plus extra spoons. Love the look, weight, and feel of this flatware. Have received several compliments, especially from male friends. They always notice the weight of the pieces. I just set the table for Thanksgiving dinner, and although I also have Silver Plate and Sterling Silver, I chose to use this Stainless. First of all it's beautiful on the table, but I can also put it n the dishwasher when we clean up after dinner. Chosing this flatware was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looked lovely, but..... We were extremely pleased when we received the silverware set, the look is classic and the pieces are heavy, everything we were looking for in a set. However, after about a month the knife blades began to rust. After closer inspection, there is a clear delineation between the handle and the blade and the description on the handle reads '18/10 handle'. What a disappointment. The rest of the set seems to be weathering fine but I'm sending the whole set back, including the hostess set and steak knives I purchased, all because they tried to save a buck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic Look & Low Maintenance I registered for these flatware for our wedding about three years to go to go along with the Mahogany Dinnerware. These have a classic look to them, and we use these for everyday meals. They still look like new! After many washes in the dishwasher, they still keep their shine, and I don't ever have to do anything, and they are very easy to clean. Just be careful and use the soft side of the sponge when trying to clean to get rid of food that got stuck on them for it will leave streaks if you use the rough side. Great look and durable!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful flatware! I have had the Grand Hotel II flatware set for almost two years. It is a great weight and still looks brand new. It pairs well with both my Staccato dishware and my Waterford fine china. When I registered, I also considered the Lenox Vintage Jewel pattern and the Waterford Russborough patterns, both similar beaded patterns. I ultimately picked this pattern because of the price and accessibility. I am happy with my choice. If you are registering for flatware, I recommend registering for extra serving spoons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and Classic Flatware We wanted a classic pattern that would not go out of style or look too trendy and this fit the bill! The pieces are beautiful and subtantial in weight and the pattern will go with everything from casual brunch to a nice dinner party. We are very happy with our choice!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Set! I have been looking for a set of silverware for years that is elegant, yet functional. This set is perfect! The beading along the edge makes each piece look polished and sophisticated. The quality is excellent and is easily cleaned. I am so happy with my purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely We received 12 place settings of this pattern, along with the serving pieces, as a wedding gift, and good not be happier! The pattern is elegant enough for everyday or special occasion. The size and weight of the pieces tell their quality, my husband was pleasantly surprised at the comparison to our old flatware. Washes beautifully in the dishwasher...we will certainly enjoy these for years to come.
