The Story

Multifunctional silicone baking mat is calibrated with concentric circles for uniform biscuits and cookies, pie and pizza crusts prior to oven baking up to 675 degrees. The baking mat makes any cookie sheet non-stick and doubles as a non-skid working surface. Additional weight, volume and conversion charts add convenient at-a-glance recipe translation. Can be cut or trimmed to fit any size pan, and rolled up for easy storage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is awesome! I have granite tile countertops and hated rolling out cookie dough, pie crusts, or rolls because of the grout which can be dirty without you knowing it (until you pull up your dough and see a black line!) even when I'd cleaned and scrubbed it prior to using the counter. I went to C&B to see in person a large marble slab I'd seen in the catalog, but after talking to a very helpful salesperson I ended up buying this. I am SO glad I did. (For one thing, I don't know how I would have moved or stored the marble block--they are too heavy to move around.) I LOVE this mat. I can lay it down and roll out whatever I want--it does great preventing sticking even without flour but also works well if you flour it, and it is much easier to clean up afterwards. It wipes clean very easily and can be rolled to store away without taking up hardly any space. My only worry has been using a pizza cutter or pastry wheel on it. The instructions say not to use anything sharp on these, so I don't know how hard you can push with a blade without actually cutting into the surface, but so far I've been able to use these (a bit carefully) and not have any problems. I believe you can bake with this like with other silicone mats, too--I haven't used mine for that purpose, however, so I can't vouch for how that works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dough doesn't stick... I have used this twice so far, the dough doesn't stick at all. The measurement circles are extremely helpful also, no guessing. I love it...
