We are honored to help rebuild homes and revitalize communities across the country as part of our three-year, $1.5 million partnership with Rebuilding Together—a nonprofit organization whose mission is to rebuild the homes and lives of America’s homeowners in need. Home by home, block by block, Crate and Barrel is dedicated to supporting this very important cause by donating resources and time to national rebuilding efforts.

In October 2012, we committed $250,000 to Rebuilding Together to help rebuild homes affected by Hurricane Sandy. To support those efforts, Crate and Barrel associates volunteered their time last summer to help repair and rebuild homes in Brooklyn, New York and Moonachie, New Jersey. View footage from our rebuilding event in Moonachie, New Jersey here. This July, Crate and Barrel associates will volunteer for a third Hurricane Sandy rebuilding project.

In June 2013, we helped to revitalize the Hilltop neighborhood in Columbus, Ohio as part of the Building a Healthy Neighborhood project. And in October, more than 100 Crate and Barrel associates from the Chicago area contributed their time and effort, as well as household goods, to improve the Maria Shelter in the Englewood neighborhood.

We’re proud to participate in the following Rebuilding Together projects this year:

April 4: Dallas, TX
May 29-31: Nashville, TN as part of the Building a Healthy Neighborhood event
June 19: Washington, DC
August 21: San Francisco, CA
