Strut 70 Work Table is rated 4.4684 out of 5 by 79.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Desk ... one minor issues = 4.75 stars I love this table when I first saw it. Italics so modern. I had to have it.I wanted to use it as a desk. Thought the glass top was too long. I was planing putting a very heavy computer (40 pounds) on it along with a 40 inch monitor and speakers.Spoke to a sales person about my concerns and she suggested just buying the legs and getting the glass top made the way I like it.Thats just what I did.The legs alone cost less than the list price once the glass was not brought from C&B. Overall it cost about the same but I got exactly what I wanted.Because I'm a nerd the glass had to be sized as a golden ratio. The glass was thicker (increasing its load bearing capacity) and had round 3 inch corners (for safety). Its deeper and shorter than stock. Gives me plenty of space for a computer and monitor and enough left over to write scribble, etc. To use a light based mouse I applied the matte texture glass appliqué stuff you put on windows for privacy, to the table top in the middle 2/3rds. The sides are still clear as ... well glass. Added bonus is I don't have to worry about my screw drovers and other tools from scratching up the glass top.I've had it for 2 + years now and never had an issue. Its perfect as a desk. The only problem I see is with the legs if you were to use it as a dinning table. It does wobble if you push it gently from side to side. If the they angled the legs out more to the side it might solve this problem. But as I use it as a desk and OnlyI use it.... not a big deal.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great piece for dinning I bought this table from Crate and Barrel in Pasadena, and they said it was out of stock, and might take a few days to deliver the dinning table and chairs. But they arrived earlier than predicted, and the delivery service was fast and nice. They assembled the dinning pieces in less than 2 minutes.I've always used a wooden dinning table thinking the glass would break, but this Strut 70 work table was a great piece for dinning, and the glass was thick and strong. The table legs were very unique and modern with a mix of metal and wood. I read the reviews before I made the purchase of this table, some claim that the table was wobbly, mine wasn't. It is wobbly if you try to shake it hard from the longer ends, but if you shake it from left to right, it doesn't move. Not only that, it can fit 4-8 people. It may be called a work table, but it is stunning for a dinning table. Now I can see my dogs when they hide under the table and see through my fireplace when people comes in to our dinning area. The dinning chairs were also from Crate and Barrel, it's called the Lowe's khaki side chair.I am very satisfied with this beautiful piece of table and chairs that made my dinning area elegant. I have several friends who commented on my table. I would definitely recommend this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit for my kitchen Love the table. Needed a smaller scale glass table that wouldn't overwhelm the space. Looks great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great as a dining table I use this table as a dining table in my small condo. It is the perfect size for 4 people, but often have 6 around it and it doesn't feel cramped or small. Have had it for a year and the glass has stayed nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Table! This table is perfect in the living/dining space of my new condo. The glass is ample for my office work and crafting, but--because it's glass--it doesn't seem to take lots of space. The base is elegant and interesting. Glad I bought this!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful table I bought the table about 2 months ago. It is higher than most dining tables , so you need chairs that are 20 inches in height. This is not a standard size so finding chairs was a bit challenging. The glass table top developed a crack after the first 2 weeks. Crate and Barrel replaced it within the week. Very happy overall, just a few issues!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Table We bought this several years ago to use as a dining table at our condo. We paired it with some woven rattan dining chairs in the same color. Beautiful combination and perfect size for a condo. Now that we are in a house we use it as our kitchen table with stools that tuck away nicely. It's a beautiful piece, modern and the glass top gives it a light feeling.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from holes dont line up We have been waiting for this desk to come in and I just returned from the warehouse anxious to put it together. The feeling turned to anger quickly when I discovered that the holes have been drilled incorrectly and don't line up. Furious

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks Great! We purchased the Strut about a month ago and use as a dining table. The overall design is simple, but the materials and clean lines are elegant and modern. Goes really well with our set of vintage aluminum chairs. Very happy with our purchase so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great dinning table After failing to find a glass dining table, I found the Strut work table as I was looking around Crate & Barrel's store. It was exactly what I had in mind and it paired perfectly with the lemon grass Lowe chairs that I already had. I really like the look of this table/desk and am happy using it as a dining table, but, as other users have said, it wobbles - just a bit in my case. I use Windex and newspaper to keep the glass clean and shiny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely Great design, good size for smaller apartments. I'm using this table as a dining table currently, but may use it as a work table in the future if I move into a larger space and have room for a larger dining table. Seats six people comfortably. Have not yet had problems with the glass scratching as in other reviews, but I've only owned the table for a short time.
