Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved it! I purchased this brine for our Thanksgiving turkey and it turned out super moist!! I especially love that the bag was included in the jar as well. The herb mixture was very flavorful, easy to prepare and very tasty!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Turkey Ever! I bought this in the Crate & Barrel store near us right before Thanksgiving this year. The turkey had an great flavor and was not dry at all. We have 60+ people at our house for Thanksgiving so I bought 2 for 2 turkeys. I actually started Tuesday evening by soaking the turkeys in the brine overnight and then cooked them in a cooking bag in my ovens on Wednesday. When my husband got home from work he carved the turkeys. Then we put them in the roasting pan and covered them in their own juices and wrapped with saran wrap. Thanksgiving morning all I had to do was pop them in the oven to reheat. Easiest Thanksgiving I've had in a long time and everyone said the turkey was the best they had ever tasted :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excited to try!! Good value for the price considering the bag is included. Like that it accommodates a larger turkey for one jar as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Find! This is the first time I've bought a ready-made brine and couldn't be more pleased, especially since the sturdy brining bag was Included. It may have been expensive but is worth every penny for the convenience, and no mess since I opened the jar inside my crockpot and shook out the bag. I was so pleased that I just bought three more (on sale) to share with friends next year.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing Change We buy turkey brine from C&B every year, and it makes a for a pretty great turkey. This year, I was surprised to find the little box with a packet of spices and a neatly folded bag replaced with a big glass jar of spices that had the bag packed in the center.I was a little hesitant since the new packaging came with a 50% increase in the price, but my in-laws are visiting for Thanksgiving, and they really like the turkey that results so I caved. I'm sorry I did. To try and minimize the mess in my sparkly clean kitchen (see in-laws visiting, above), I opened the jar over a large bowl and dumped the spices in. Even with the extra precautions, I had spices flung all over my kitchen when I pulled the bag out of the jar. Annoying. The bottom line is that this makes a decent turkey. But the less-friendly packaging plus the huge increase in the price mean I won't be buying it again. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go scrape rosemary bits out of my kitchen grout...
