The Story

Conceived with the thought of friends and family coming together and enjoying good food, wine and conversation, our exclusive Welcome collection, designed by Aaron Probyn, is informed by an encompassing, multicultural mindset. The dinnerware showcases artisanal stoneware shapes glazed in earthy, appetizing hues of cool grey, light grey and sage green. These pieces join our extended Welcome family of stoneware, wood, glass and metal serving pieces, glassware and flatware in a tableau of beautifully contrasting color accented with warm metallics, colored glass and oxidized metals.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Addition to Set! Another great addition to our Welcome Dinnerware. We have the dinner plate, salad plate, red wine, the blue hued doubles, the cooler and now the pinch bowls. This bowl was a bit smaller than I anticipated but really finishes off this set. Great for condiments or that extra bit of salad dressing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute & useful Bought these to go with my hue dinnerware. They compliment my hue dishes well and are the perfect size bowls for condiments. Love the unglazed bottom and the handmade feel. I even went back and ordered more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely small bowl I have four of these that I bought about a year ago. None of them are scratched, or dinged. There is color variation, but that's to be expected with non mass produced items. I like the variety, I find it charming. These are wonderful to serve and help portion condiments, sauces, butter, etc. my husband hasn't noticed I cut the amount of bbq sauce in half since it fills this up nicely and he thinks he's getting the full amount. I even use these for my homemade ice cream. I use a nice ice cream scoop, and get a very nicely packed scoop that is about 1/2 a cup. It has enough room that it is a perfect dome on top. Honestly I eat the ice cream on top like a cone, and use a coffee spoon to eat it once it's into thebowl portion. They are so handy and versatile, I'm hoping to get 4 more of these.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Welcome dinnerware a disappointment I am in love with these dishes but I'm very frustrated too. I ordered some additional to complete my set and the colors were drastically different on the salad plates. The customer service woman was wonderful and sent some different ones and while the colors are better, the plates were unacceptable - various flaws. I'll keep trying to make a total set but I wish the quality was better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Gorgeous dishes, terrible quality These dishes are absolutely beautiful and exactly what we had been looking for in terms of style. I was so excited when they arrived off of our wedding registry but was sad to find that 11 of the 12 dishes we received were severely scratched around the rim and on the plate (not to be confused with any imperfections in the glaze, which add to their character). Thinking we had just gotten unlucky, we took them to our local C&B to exchange them for more of the same. The C&B associate that helped us was so nice and actually helped us go through the dishes they had in stock to try and find an unscratched set of 12. We couldn't find more than 3 in the entire store.Another store associate said that several other people had been in recently to exchange (and ultimately return) these dishes as well. It seems to be a problem with the design and/or make of these dishes, although only with the dinner plates and not with the bowls, platters, or other pieces in the Welcome line (this was true of our experience and apparently also of others). Sadly, we'll have to go back next week to return the rest of the set, which would have been perfect if not for the poor quality of the dishes.
