Twin Down Duvet Insert is rated 4.6667 out of 5 by 30.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from HOT! I bought this insert and the construction of the insert is better than any other duvet insert I've ever used. However, it is described as an all season insert and we've found that it's only good in winter, in all other seasons it is simply too hot. I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains and the blanket was warm enough that we turned the heat off in our house most nights this winter. Unfortunately, as soon as spring came, we had to remove the insert and put it away because we were waking up sweating every night.Although the quality of the insert is very high, it's simply too hot for us to use most of the year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you sleep with this... If you sleep with this insert, you will not be able to get out of bed in the morning. This is the most comfortable thing that I have ever slept with. Do yourself a favor and get this now!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome comforter I bought the queen size right after Christmas. Excellent down duvet insert. It's extremely warm, stays puffy, and is generously sized. It is also very well priced. Very happy with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Two Thumbs Up For Down Baffle box construction and double-needle stitching minimize shifting, a high priority for me. Nice and cozy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Toasty Warm! I wanted a duvet that was large enough for my husband and I to share and warm enough for cold Wisconsin nights. I have not been disappointed! Many of my friends paid less (or more) for down duvets from other companies and have complained about the odor or low quality baffles. This duvet is incredibly well made and durable. And it is WARM. Super toasty WARM. So warm that it is a winter only bedding item in my house, but when you need it, it doesn't disappoint.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleeping in Clouds My husband and I are so happy with this purchase. The comforter is so fluffy and comfortable you feel like you are sleeping in clouds. It did shed a few feathers when we first took it out of the box, but now that it is inside of the duvet cover this hasn't been a problem at all. Our only regret is waiting this long to purchase!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hot, Hot, Hot This insert works great with the CB duvets; however, it is the warmest bedding i have ever had. I first used it with a wool blanket, but had to soon get rid of the blanket. Dont think i will have this on the bed in summer months!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Perfect Weight While many other down inserts of similar price point can seem like limp blankets, this baby was fluffy and beautiful straight out of the bag. Paired with the Lino Linen Duvet Cover, this has kept us perfectly warm. I wondered if we might be too hot after reading some of the reviews, but this seems to be a perfect weight. There is a slight rustle when moving it around, but nothing too distracting. It's not an uncommon characteristic of a nice down comforter, so it doesn't bother me. Great quality, great price, happy camper!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice duvet but not all weather for sure The duvet is great but I would use it in the colder months only. It's too warn to be used in the summer or spring!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Insert, very warm and good weight I bought this Duvet Insert roughly 8 months ago and have loved it since. It has held up great, was warm through a Northeast winter, and has a nice weight to it which I like when sleeping

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for hot/cold sleepers! My husband sleeps hot and I'm always cold. This gives me the weight & comfort I look for in a comforter & he's happy too! It may seem like more than other comforters out there but worth every penny. Only problem with it is how hard it is to get out of bed :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great price, great quality Almost didn't buy this because it said "all season" and I needed a heavyweight - but so many reviewers said it was "too warm" that I decided to go ahead. Also fill weight was 50 oz which is a pretty hefty comforter, and for this price! It's a good thick comforter which is what I wanted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Down Duvet especially for the price! I was frustrated trying to find a down duvet for under $500. It is for a guest bedroom so it will not be used all the time but I still did not want a "cheap" duvet either. I had purchased a few and had to return them all. They were always very flat, looked more like a blanket than a down duvet and not worth the $200+they all seemed to cost. I tried this duvet as my last resort (thank you to an email!) and was so pleasantly surprised! It has great volume, the quality of the cover is excellent, and from the moment I took it out of the bag I new it as the right one! Thank you Crate and Barrel!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very warm I bought this a few weeks ago and I am happy that I did. Very warm and may be too warm for someone who is always cold like me. I set my temp to 67 at night and this kept me very warm all night. I slept so well in it. I also purchased C & B duvet cover to patch with it. A little too pricey is my only complaint.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great quality, but too warm! I bought this insert two weeks ago. It looks great, feels good, and is, definitely, of high quality, but, for some reason, it keeps me sweating all nights long. I am a kind of person, who is cold all the time. In summer I rarely use conditioner, in winter I am freezing to death. I am still trying to find the reason why this excellent insert makes me feel overheated. Maybe, because a Tempur-Pedic mattress cover that I have on my bed, is a heat producer too, and it can not be combined with down comforter? I feel sorry I have to return the insert, because I love everything about this product, and wish it worked for me:(
