Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderfully utilitarian. So far the best utility knife I have purchased from Wusthof. Absolutely love it. Moves wonderfully through everything and the blade makes it very easy to move chopped or sliced items to where they have to go without spilling all over. Like it much better than Chef's knife and Santoku in this brand. And I only buy Wusthof Classic. Nothing else compares, I have found and I do a LOT of cooking. Buy it !! You'll love it too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slices so thin! This is my favorite knife for thin slicing. I never realized before I owned this how there really is a right knife for the job. Slicing thin meat for jerky is no problem with this. It's a high quality knife, still like new after a year and a half. I love all my Wusthof Classic knives, but this one is my personal favorite.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Chop Chop Chop! I recently changed my eating habits and introduced a ton more vegetables. Who knew they were impossible to cut??? I used to use a heavy chef's knifr and a tomotoe knife. Introduce yourself to a Nakiri. You will be ae to slice through giant egglants, zucchini, heads of lettuce, bucnches of kale, and pomegranates in no time. For me it is much easir to work with (sharp and balanced) and the knife is much lighter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fine balance I was looking for something to complement a fine Japanese knife of similar design but heavier weight and this Wusthof knife fits the bill admirably. Good balance in the hand, a reasonably good edge and the usual high construction are the positives; never have cared for dimples in steel since they rarely mean anything of value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love this knife This is the Pioneer Woman's favorite knife, so I had been hoping to get it for a while. I received it as a gift and am really enjoying it. It's a nice, mid-sized, solid-weight knife. I have used it for slicing all kinds of fruits and veggies, from strawberries on up to heads of cabbage. It's nice and sharp but doesn't seem as scary as using a usual pointed-blade chef's knife. Having a good quality knife and rock maple cutting board makes all the difference in the world and makes me really look forward to cooking. Be sure to hand wash and dry it right away.
