The Story

This reversible, nonslip pad protects both carpet and hard floors. One side is fabric, made from post-industrial recycled material, for use on carpet; the other is synthetic rubber for hard floors. Cushioned material reduces rug wear and makes vacuuming rugs easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holds rugs in place perfectly Great rug pad that holds area rug in place perfectly and doesn't scratch my hard wood floors or leave marks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I bought this thin rug pad to go under the Koen Tile Rug for our entryway. I'm very happy with both items overall except that the rug pad is about 1/4" larger than the rug itself on all sides, so it peeks through. The pad is durable and has stayed in place nicely on our hardwood floor, so there's no concern about slipping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy with several mats! I needed to cut two of the four mats I bought and it was easy. They work well. From sliding all over the place on rugs w/o mats to secure footing with mats is literally life saving. The mats are under Zapotecan handmade rugs from Mexico and because they are the thin mats they are undetectable yet do the job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glad I bought it for my Alverz Rug! makes a big difference without it, really glad I got it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! I bought three rug lads to go under some recently purchased rugs so that they didn't slip. I added another rug pad after I found that the pad under our runner was adhering to the floor and making a mess. These rug pads don't do that. They hold the rug in place without sticking heavily to the floor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just right... I have purchased this rug pad in various sizes and have never been disappointed in performance when paired with runners or area rugs on my hardwood and kitchen floors. The are a great value, as well!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works just fine if it's secured I bought this to place under a rag rug the same side on hardwood flooring so it the rug won't slip. Unfortunately, it wouldn't stay in place without something that would make it adhere to the rug. Duct tape to the rescue! I used the tape at all four corners, so now the pad stays in place and the rug doesn't move.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works fine! I bought two large rug pads and I am very pleased with them. Wish I would have bought them sooner, they are so much better than the cheap ones!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Indoors Only I have rug pads under both indoor rugs and a rug that's in the garage. it doesn't work great on the slippery surface of concrete in the garage but indoors (on linoleum) it works perfectly!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not what I really wanted, but works OK. In in opinion, this pad is not "thin".  As best I can measure, it is 3/16th's of an inch thick. This sounds thin but I ordered the small ones for small rugs.  I have ordered the Easy Hold Rug pad in the past & love it.  It's made essentially the same with the same backing material on each side, except without the thickness. For going under a small woven wool Indian rug, the thin is much better.  I don't know why they quit offering the Easy Hold pad.  I'm making do because this is all they have, so it's good, and works fine, but if you're looking for something very thin for a very thin rug, this is not it.  I'd still recommend it tho, as it works just fine.
