The Story

There's more than meets the eye in our new compact entertainment bar. Two bartop leaves flip open to perch drinks and snacks, while revealing generous bottle storage. Front door drops down to create an open serving area. Below are a drawer for tools and an 18-bottle wine bin. Side shelves (three on the left, two on the right) store stemware or bottles. Finished back panel lets Parker be the center of the party.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent, looked better in store We bought this because we loved the look of it in stores. However, when we received it, it didn't live up to our excitement. The top is never completely level - no matter what we do - the cabinets on the side are too small for regular stemmed wine glasses, and the main cabinet is too small for normal size bottles. If it didn't look good when all opened up, I would give this 2 stars. When closed, it's disappointing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent build quality and craftsman type details I bought this for my fiance as his birthday gift a month ago. The pieces are solid wood (espresso finish) and they look very nice. Easy to assemble but be sure to follow the directions. No polish smell at all which is really good since many people seem to have concern of the strong odor of furniture polish. One small thing prevented me from giving it 5 stars. The top storage compartment is too low for most of the hard liquor bottles even it has a deeper gap at the back - it's just not enough given we have too many big bottles :( We have to place the tequila and vodka bottles horizontally in order to close the lids which is a bit inconvenient.Overall, I love the high quality of this cabinet and it matches perfectly to our hard wood floor in the dining room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Price Perfect We were in the market for a true bar/entertaining area and loved so many of the C&B items but most were beyond what we could afford. We saw this one in store and decided that given the price we'd give it a go. As others have noted, yes, assembly is required, but it's not difficult in the slightest to put together. The individual pieces are sturdy and feels more expensive than what we had to pay. Only drawback is that liquor bottles need to be the right shape to correctly fit, and forget trying to get most larger 1.75L bottles into. Overall though, well worth the price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great with one exception We purchased this cabinet several weeks ago and paid for the delivery and assembly. Once it was put together, it was clear that the two pieces of wood that form the top of the cabinet were misaligned and when it is closed, the gap is pretty uneven from top to bottom. Crate and Barrel very nicely arranged for the defective piece to be picked up and replaced with one that is better but still not really even. But for the price, the piece is very functional and it works great in a small condo.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good looking and highly functional. I bought this a month ago for our summer house on Cape Cod since we were short on storage space in the kitchen. Looks great. Just one slight fix needed to shave a little wood of the wine bottle separator so it didn't 't rub against the drawer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just as great in person I have been day dreaming of this product for 2 years now and finally bought it. I am so happy I did! I assembled at home, which is much easier if you have 2 people. The cabinet is well built and instructions were easy to follow. I love the cabinet and it is what I expected base on the website and details.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Functional and aesthetically pleasing I purchase 2, yes 2, liquor cabinets a month ago and they look great on the left and right side of my fireplace/TV. We use one to hold all the dish box, Xbox, and DVD player, while the other holds, believe it or not, bourbon! The cabinets look great with our copper mugs, wine and Stella glasses on the side of them. Fairly easy to install.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy set up I bought this a couple months ago and I just love. It has plenty of storage to fit all accessories for the bar. It was very easy to put together and I like how you can store the wine bottles in the front lower section. It opens up for making drinks and putting out snacks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sleek look We've had this cabinet about one month. Very sleek look and we have it right near our dining room table. At our last gathering, it was open and for pre-dinner drinks and the fact that it can close up - it doubles as a nice area to place extra serving dishes as to not clutter the dining room table. You have to put it together and while it didn't take my hubby long, the drop down front piece took some tweaking to get the hinges just right. Some of our glasses didn't fit in the side compartments....but we just put different glasses there.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice cheap option, easy to assemble This drinks cabinet looks really stylish. It takes some assembly but is actually pretty easy to put together. I found that after a week or so it had become a little crooked, but I still get lots of great compliments on how it looks. It also has lots of handy storage for all my barware, glasses and bottles.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dents everywhere Bought this 2 weeks ago and picked it up at the warehouse today - 3 dents on the separate external surface components. Not happy

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great piece We bought this piece a few months ago, it was more assembly than we thought but a really nice addition to our dining room.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Piece For a Moderate Size Bar This is a very nice piece. It's compact enough that, and assembly was very straightforward. Able to stock a modestly sized bar. Easily fits into a room and is nonobtrusive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Cabinet! I would say, know in advance that you will not be able to store stemmed wine glasses on the sides, except in the tall bin, which I'm using for tall bottles. I found it fairly easy to assemble on my own, in about an hour. It's a very pretty cabinet, and I was impressed with the quality for a flat-packed item.
