In the late 1960s, Maija Isola lived in Paris on several occasions, residing in a studio apartment at the Cité International des Arts. She would take long walks through Parisian parks, often pausing to read beneath the trees. Designed in 1971, Tuuli ("wind") is based on Maija's photograph of a tree that was especially meaningful to her, recalling a quiet moment with nature, as the branches sway in the breeze. Replicated from her original photograph, tiny birds can even be seen perched among the leaves. Duvet cover reverses to self, with hidden button closure at bottom and interior fabric ties to hold the insert in place. Duvet inserts also available.

<NEWTAG/>

Pattern designed by Maija Isola; 1971

100% cotton sateen

300-thread-count

Machine wash cold

Made in Pakistan
