Product Description

Follow the sun or shade with the casual and stylish Alfresco outdoor chaise lounge. Fooling the eye with its real wood appearance as it fools the elements with water-, UV- and fade-resistant properties, this sleek chaise in warm grey slatted polystyrene faux wood is treated with UV and anti-oxidant protection. Sturdy but lightweight aluminum frame has a durable black powdercoat finish. Chaise lounge features a push-button gas mechanism that lifts and lowers the back to your desired position. Rear wheels allow easy mobility.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy and comfortable!!! I bought these lounge chairs 2 months ago and couldn't be happier. We had to replace the older ones since after 6 years of being on the beach, the joints were starting to corrode finally. I did see complaints of faulty gas cylinders, but we never had an issue with them being on the beach uncovered for 6 years so not sure what others were doing. We just made sure to spray/clean them twice a month but that is the only maintenance we did. Wonderful chairs and we hope they continue making this style!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Gas cylinder failed after less than 2 years After less than two years the gas cylinder failed. This chair was used very few times and was in a protected environment. Very disappointed having to pay $700 for this premium chair including Sunbrella pad. Crate and barrel did replace the cylinder at no charge which was nice but now I have doubts about the longevity of these chairs is I purchased two of them

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Slats that bend and pop out of place I initially loved this piece (and still do) but after only one season outdoors the top slat on the chaise popped loose. My husband repaired the faulty slat, with a combination of filling in the original screw hole and reattaching the screw. Other slats are also loose, with the threads having failed. We were very disappointed and found it annoying, to say the least. This is a complete departure from our past experience with Crate&Barrel outdoor and indoor furniture.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Slats fail; not built for outdoor use After only a couple months of outdoor use, many of the "Slats of innovative polystyrene faux wood ... treated with UV and anti-oxidant protection and finished a warm grey" have failed. The slats have buckled and warped, pulling away from the metal frame, tearing out the screw holes as they did. We have managed to repair temporarily by gluing wood into the holes and using different screws. A real disappointment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid and stylish We bought this to go with the chairs and tables we bought a few years ago. Nice to be able to match it with them. These are solid pieces, that hold up well and look good after being outdoors. The chaise has a lever on the side so you don't have to get up to adjust the back level. The look is stylish and modern and looks more expensive than itis.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Heavy and Big We bought these lounge chairs and set them up on our deck. They took up so much space and were so heavy that both my husband and I needed to move each one.They are heavy duty and sturdy, but the back is hard to adjust. If these are the only lawn furniture you plan to have, they might be fine for you, but if you have a table and chairs it's hard to make these fit.

Return/Exchange Policy

At Crate and Barrel, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our furniture and rugs. Attention to detail in design, materials and construction is always at the forefront. We encourage you to inspect the item upon receipt. If you have a concern or believe there is a quality issue, we will work with you to correct it, in accordance with the policy below. Stock Furniture, Rugs and Rug Pads

Payment is required in full for in-stock items. For out-of-stock items, we require a 50% deposit to reserve incoming stock and full payment of the balance prior to scheduling delivery (or pickup of eligible items). You may cancel your Stock order at any time prior to delivery or pickup for a full refund.

If you are not satisfied with your Stock furniture, rug or rug pad purchase upon receipt, you must contact us within 7 days of your delivery or pickup to arrange a return. The item must be returned within 30 days of delivery or pickup.

All items will be inspected upon return. A restocking fee will apply, starting at 25% of the purchase price, for any items not returned in good condition or outside the stated time frame.

Proof of purchase is required to issue an appropriate exchange, credit or refund, as well as any taxes due to be refunded in accordance with applicable state law. Refunds will be issued in the Original Form of Tender (cash refunds are limited to $100 in store with any balance refunded as a check by mail). For your convenience, we will accept the following as proof of your purchase:

  • Original Paper Receipt
  • Gift Receipt
  • eReceipt
  • Original Packing Slip
  • Gift Packing Slip
  • Order Number
  • Gift Registry Number

We can also verify proof of purchase by looking up your original receipt using your Crate and Barrel Credit Card or major credit card used at the time of purchase, or the email address used to receive an eReceipt.

Additional Colors and Frames, Custom Furniture, and Custom Rugs

These special-order items are made to your individual specifications; therefore, we cannot accept returns or exchanges.

Additional Colors and Frames, plus Custom fabrics and select leg finish and cushion options, can be purchased at stores and online; visit a store for all Custom fabric, finish, cushion and detail options (prices vary based on selection).

We require a 50% deposit for all Additional Color, Additional Frame and Custom order merchandise. The balance must be paid in full prior to scheduling delivery (or pickup of eligible items).

Once you place your order for Additional Color, Additional Frame or Custom merchandise, you have 72 hours to change or cancel. After 72 hours, your 50% deposit is nonrefundable. The 72-hour time frame begins as soon as you place your order and confirm your fabric selection in a store or online.

For Additional Color, Additional Frame and Custom orders canceled within 72 hours, an appropriate exchange, credit or refund will be issued, as well as any taxes due to be refunded in accordance with applicable state law. Refunds will be issued in the Original Form of Tender (cash refunds are limited to $100 in store with any balance refunded as a check by mail).

If an Additional Color, Additional Frame or Custom item arrives with a manufacturing defect or damage caused during transit, we will repair or replace the defective or damaged area. If that is not possible, we will arrange an exchange. We reserve the right to determine the best course of action.
